The Jurgen Klinsmann era has now officially been logged into the history books. Although the US did not really do anything of substance in the first half, an influx of youthful subs in the second half put Mexico back on their heels. The US would find an equalizer, and were really unlucky not to get the win.

The US tied 1-1 with Mexico last night in Jurgen Klinsmann's first game in charge of the national team.

First impressions were not positive as the U.S. were dominated by Mexico in the first half. Klinsmann sent the U.S. out in a 4-2-3-1 formation, but the U.S. could do little offensively in the first half, failing to even get a shot on goal.

After a lackadaisical first half performance that saw U.S. Men's National Team trailing Mexico 1-0, new head coach Jurgen Klinsmann brought the U.S. back to life with much needed substitutes after the hour mark, leading to an eventual 1-1 draw at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA. on Wednesday night.
