I am reading reports today that Roman Abramovich has decided to ring the changes at Chelsea with
regards to player contracts in light of the money that has been blown away on past players. Its
been openly reported (here ) that Chelsea have lost approx £70m in salaries paid to players who
have contributed very little.
Chelsea have confirmed on the website that new signing Ramires has been given the number 7 shirt at
Chelsea. Let's hope that he has more luck wearing 7 than his predecessor Andrei Shevchenko!
KTBFFH!
After weeks of speculation about his future it has been confirmed today that
Michael Ballack
will be leaving Chelsea when his contract expires July 1st. Ballack has been at Chelsea for four
years now and finally added the Premier League title to his FA Cup & Carling Cup winners medals.
1. The tampering of Roman Abramovich
Just when all seemed to be going so well at Stamford Bridge, Roman Abramovich sacks Carlo
Ancelotti's assistant manager Ray Wilkins apparently without his consent or even knowledge, and
Chelsea go on to lose their next two league games.
