Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhhhh! ... My God, it hurts so bad! ... And it's yes, it's leaving a red mark. A
red mark! ... I think that means I'm bleeding internally. ... I don't have much time. ... How could
that Rangers mercenary do this to me? .... I have a family.
Steven Gerrard and Daniel Agger threaten Andrei Arshavin with a swirly if he doesn't fork over
the cash during Arsenal's win over Liverpool on Sunday. Arshavin is clearly about to run away, in
fear of getting stuffed in his locker again.

4 weeks ago, Arsenal's title challenge was over. The home defeat to Chelsea had seen everyone
and their dog line up to kick Arsene Wenger's team. While they were still licking their wounds,
Manchester City snatched a win against the usual collection of youngsters, sprinkled with
experience in the League Cup.
Ted Harwood is a regular guest contributor to Arsenal Station. He lives in Chicago,
IL, and has been an Arsenal supporter for the better part of a decade. Here, he takes a look at the
new USA Arsenal site and I follow-up with my own thoughts on it below. Ted also writes about
movies, music, and other cultural artifacts on his blog, Running Downhill.

The Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has come back into the Arsenal squad just in time to face Liverpool
this weekend, but he is backing Andrei Arshavin to take the attacking role again in the absence of
Robin Van Persie and Nicklas Bendtner. Walcott was asked if he thought that Arsene Wenger would
give him an attacking [.
The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was forced to play Andrei Arshavin as the main striker against
Stoke yesterday, and he thinks the Russian did very well in the unfamiliar position, although he
admitted that Arshavin wasn't terribly keen on the idea! Wenger said: "I don't think he was a big
fanatic to play centre forward but [.
Arsene Wenger can drive out the criticism in his way after the mid week Carling Cup match against
City. All the Gunners and Wenger needed was a victory and Arsenal managed to win the match against
a resolute Stoke defence. Arsenal had enough quality up in front with Andrei Arshavin being
fantastic all throughout the match.
I have to admit that I was not entirely confident going into yesterday's match. Bad things have
happened recently in our big 4 matches; that is, if Liverpool can still be considered a "big 4″
side. Liverpool had Gerrard and Torres available and our injury situation had not improved.

Here are our three players to watch well in fact to sign to see you through the Christmas
period. As ever, we make no promises that this will turn out well. And we appreciate the lack of
imagination that seemingly lies behind these picks; but points mean prizes...
1. Andrei Arshavin
Over the next four gameweeks (assuming you play the FPL and are familiar with that parlance)
Arsenal play Burnley, Hull, Villa and then joy of joys have a double header, with Portsmouth and
Bolton both on the week's menu.
There are plenty of spoof videos on the Internet, but most of them are cheaply done. However, I
came across this one today that I think is one of the best ones I've ever seen that features Andrei
Arshavin going "Back to the Future" to stick it to the Liverpool players and Rafa Benitez.
<p align="center:< We were a bit late to the party in posting this, but the above Andrei
Arshavin, Liverpool, Back to the Future mash up is both funny and clever. Plus it's Friday. For
some reason my favourite part is Rafa Benitez as Marty's mom (with Lea Thompson's hair) right at
the end. I should probably [.
We're getting towards the end of 2009, so time to take a look back over our shoulders and bid the
year a fond farewell before we say hallo to 2010. Recently I asked the many and talented bloggers
of The Offside and World Cup Blog to share their favourite footballing moment from the last twelve

This week, Arsenal Station will look back at the decade that has come and gone with a few
features including a few decade review articles from me and our guest contributors and a piece with
my own personal rankings of the players and moments or matches of the decade. Enjoy and Happy New
Year!
