According to ESPN Soccernet, Arsenal footballer Andrei
Arshavin has drawn interest from Juventus. His agent Dennis
Lachter told lifesports.ru,
"There's a possibility of Andrei's move to Juventus ... But there are two things that can
prevent this deal .
The little Russian forward Andrei Arshavin has not looked like his heart is at Arsenal for some
time now, and he is rarely given a start by Wenger except in the underperforming Gunners
"second-string" games. Considering that just two years ago he was considered the biggest star in
Russia (never mind Zenit!
The Russian attacker Andrei Arshavin has looked out of sorts all season, and although he has scored
a few goals (and quite a few assists as well) he has rarely looked animated in games except for
short periods. The flashes of brilliance that the Arsenal fans expected to see last season are
rarely seen this [.
This time last year we were on a long unbeaten run and were beginning to hint at the possibility
of a serious title challenge.
There was one glaring problem – we did not have a lead striker.
Robin van Persie was out on one of his trademark lengthy injury lay-offs and Nicklas Bendtner
was filling the berth next to him in the treatment room.
Apparently when I make fun of an Arsenal player by saying he has a funny celebration face, I'm a
terrible, terrible human being. I made this just to show that I'm not.
Here is Andrei Arshavin, The White Knight of Arsenal, using his patented "Two Goals At Once"
trick, riding atop his trusty Unicorn steed 'Belyh Faksov', while wielding a lightsaber.

After enduring yet another hideously out-of-sync performance for the Arsenal last night, it
should come as no real surprise that Andrei Arshavin may just be foisted out of
the Emirates during the January window with Serie A bigwigs Juventus now poised to make a move for
the 'ickle Russian water-treader.
The other day I made a funny image about Arshavin and his goal face. I said it made him look
like he was constipated. Loyal readers commented that generally speaking I was a terrible human
being for that. In response, over a twitter conversation with arseblogger, I ended up joking about
making Arhsavin riding a unicorn, as though that would make Arsenal supporters happy.
According to ESPN Soccernet, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has
ruled out selling any players this month. When asked if anybody would leave the club, Wenger
said,
"No, not at the moment ... At the moment no because we have so many games in front of us that we
want everybody to be here and available.
Solid, that's the word to describe that performance. Despite the odd moment at 2-1 the result was
never really in doubt, a convincing and thoroughly deserved victory. There were also some decent
performances from a few of those who had not impressed against Ipswich in the Carling Cup. The
Leeds goal was an unstoppable thirty yarder but it had come after a clear shirt tug on Andrei
Arahvin,
Arsenal take on Wigan tomorrow and the Gunners will not be happy that they dropped points in the
first League meeting this season. Andrei Arshavin is expecting a massacre (but I doubt he will be
playing!) but I'm not so sure. Wenger will be praying that he doesn't get any more defensive
injuries, and Arshavin, Bendtner [.
I nearly actually spluttered my cornflakes all over the screen this morning when I can across the
most ridiculous Arsenal rumour ever invented. Of course it's from the News of the World... The
story goes that Andrei Arshavin is very unhappy at Arsenal, and his form has dropped even further
since he has been relegated to [.
Arsenal's close connection with youth talented players looks set to continue after the latest
report the London club are eying an exciting young attacking midfielder/winger that plays in the
French League, Eden Hazard.
Although the Gunners have been linked with the player for quite a while, but the truth about the
rumors has only been emerged after the club's tactician, Arsene Wenger, personally speak out about
his interest on Hazard.
Arsenal booked their place in the Carling Cup, It got frantic but Arsenal got it done in the end.
Nicklas Bendtner got a start tonight, albeit out wide in another right wing role, he had a good
display and kept possesion well and was neat on the ball, supplying some nice crosses but as the
Danish manager said, he is a little bit restricted when he is on the right and personally i think
he is better in the centre when also drifting out to the left side.
Arsenal midfielder Andrei Arshavin has lifted the lid on what Arsene Wenger said to his side in
the locker room during half time of their Carling Cup semifinal match. The Gunners were struggling
to overcome a tricky Ipswich side following their first leg defeat to the Championship side, but
they took control of the second leg and now find themselves booking a trip to Wembley.
So we're off to Wemberlee and the desperate struggle for tickets can now begin. Remarkably, it
will be our first Wembley final since winning the FA Cup in 1998 against Newcastle. Of course,
between then and now we have enjoyed something of a cup final spree (record in Wales: five finals,
60% success rate).
