It was not pretty but a deflected William Gallas opener and second-half own goal from Gary
Caldwell put Arsenal firmly in the driving seat in this UEFA Champions League play-off tie as the
visitors earned a 2-0 victory against Celtic.
The home team had more than matched Arsène Wenger's side for the best part of 45 minutes in
Glasgow before Gallas deflected Cesc FĂ bregas's free-kick into the net just before the
interval.

According to the London Times, Tony Mowbray will be installed as the new manager of Glasgow Celtic.
He leaves behind a relegated West Bromwich Albion, but this is a good move for both Celtic and
Mowbray. Tony did a great job getting WBA promoted in the first place. He also didn't receive a lot
of financial support to buy new players once the team were promoted.
