Joachim Low has recently criticized Miroslav Klose in the press, expressing his worries over the
Bayern Munich veteran's form.
So now it's official Andreas Beck is going home.
Joachim Löw has promised Beck that he will be first to be renominated should any more injuries
happen.
Marko Marin is safe! Now if something were to happen to two expendable players ... then...
must...
So opinions on these revelations?
The 23 man squads are coming fast and hard today with England dropping their decision today and

Though many teams had already been there, done that, today, June 1st, was the Big Day. All World
Cup squads of 23 had to be into FIFA, where Sepp would peruse to his liking and offer up silly
suggestions to his man servant, Humberto.
As is the case any time anything is announced in football, there were some surprises.
Joachim Loew has announced his squad for Germany's upcoming friendly against Denmark. Loew has
chosen to rest the majority of his World Cup stars and call up younger players to the squad who
will be given the chance to impress and begin to force their way into the German national team on a
more regular basis.
Injuries Have Clearly Taken Their Toll On Metzelder's Once Reliable Legs.
Hoffenheim hosted Schalke this afternoon and dispatched the visitors and claimed a rather
comfortable three points. A 2–0 result means Schalke are still pointless at the bottom of the
table, and the pressure will certainly continue to pile on Schalke coach Felix Magath, who spent an
impressive amount of money on new recruits this summer.
After some impressive results and some emphatic performances this weekend in the Bundesliga, I
have decided to start a Team Of The Week series to showcase the Bundesliga's top performers from
each matchday. Here's my team:
Hoffenheim's Tom Starke makes number one goalkeeper in my squad for spectacular saves that kept
Die Hoffe in the match.
In goal, I've got Frankfurt's Oka Nikolov. The Macedonian shot stopper saved a potentially game
changing penalty against Kaiserslautern when the scores were still level. While he wasn't troubled
too much other than that penalty incident, he was pretty confident and composed when dealing with
crosses and through-balls.
Andre Schuerrle And Lewis Holtby Are Set For Their First Germany Caps.
Joachim Loew has picked an experimental side for Germany's friendly against Sweden tomorrow
afternoon, with quite a few players winning their first call-ups. On-form Mainz duo Andre Schuerrle
and Lewis Holtby are set to win their first caps, as well as Dortmund's Marcel Schmelzer and Mario
Gotze.
