An incredible game in Gothenburg this afternoon, saw England U-21s take on hosts Sweden in the
first semi-final of the Euro U-21 Championship.
England cruised into a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Martin Crainie, Nedum Onuoha, and an own goal
from Mattias Bjarsmyr. However, The Swedes fought back in tremendous style after the break starting
with Marcus Berg slotting in Guillermo Molins' cross on 67 minutes.
The final two matches in the group stage of UEFA World Cup Qualifying are coming up with several
teams not yet qualified. Most of the favorites have qualified or will with one more victory. The
current teams that have qualified for the World Cup finals next summer in South Africa are South
Africa, Japan, Australia, South Korea, North Korea, Brazil, Ghana, England, Spain, Netherlands, and
Uruguay.
