He may not be the best defender. But, he has some experience, is a France international and, on
some days, he can be rather good. Yet, reports are circulating that Milan could be ready to ship
out Philippe Mexes to Arsenal in return for Nicolas Bendtner. It is not a joke; apparently the club
thinks [.
To fans of Calcio it's still as vivid as ever: The vision of Fabio Cannavaro lifting the World

to go before the 19th World Cup Final, Cannavaro and his Azzurri have a lot of hard work to do if
the national team are to avoid an embarrassing fate in their defence of the trophy.

Jamie Carragher just told the media that even without Champions League football next season,
Liverpool has the power to attract some of the world's most promising talent. I have great respect
for Carra but I am sorry, I just have to disagree. As far as I am concerned, the Reds' absence in
the Champions League next season isn't even the main reason why the most prized footballers should
stay away from the club.
Andrea Dossena has left Liverpool and signed a four-year contract with Napoli. Dossena has never
been a fans favourite and has always been out of place at Anfield. Speaking about the move he said:

plans," the [.

Over the last year, Rafael Benitez has wasted a huge chunk of the club's money on transfers
that, for whatever reason, just didn't work out. With news that Liverpool have reportedly accepted
a £4.3m bid from Napoli for left-back Andrea Dossena, this money-wasting trend seems set to
continue.
According to Sky Sports 24, Premier League giants Liverpool have come to an agreement
with Italian side Napoli over the transfer fee of Andrea Dossena.
The left-back has struggled since his €8 million move to Anfield, but having had a successful
two-year spell with Udinese in years past, Dossena will hope that a move back to Serie A will
rescue his career.

Just because a player was once brilliant on the pitch doesn't mean he'll be brilliant off it in the
front offices. See: Zinedine Zidane. "Kaka has already signed for Real. I would be happy if he were

decision', [.
Liverpool full-back Andrea Dossena has issued a 'come-and-get-me' plea to Juventus. The defender
moved to Anfield in a £7million switch from Udinese last summer after Rafa Benitez beat off
competition from the Italian giants. But Dossena, 27, suffered a patchy first season with the Reds,
appearing in less than half of their league games.
Take a look at Brazil's third goal tonight against Italy, from Andrea Dossena.
Robinho goes over to the TV camera and put three fingers up to indicate three goals have been
scored, then Kaka comes and jumps on his back and intriguingly gives the 'L' sign to signify
'Loser'!
Think what you will of Andrea Dossena's qualities as a player - and I know that there are those out
there who will think very bad things - yet you can hardly find a fault in his attitude.
Frank about his difficulties in adapting to the language and culture, he kept trying his utmost
regardless of whether he was starting the game or being sent on for the final few minutes with the
result already sealed.
If I was a betting man – and I sometimes do dabble in this rather thrilling pastime – I would
say, however reluctantly, that by the start of next season either Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Thiago
Silva will be sold. I would, indeed, I am 99.9 per cent that this will happen. In fact, I think
