It's interesting to see that while England have (before Brazil played Argentina last night)
scored the most goals in the WCQ's, they have shown their defensive errors a- plenty. Capello's
men have only managed clean sheets against Trinidad & Tobago, Andorra, Slovakia, The US and
Kazakhstan- hardly teams with great attacking threat.
Liverpool misfit Andriy Voronin played a big part in Ukraine's easy win over minnows Andorra by
laying on a couple of assists. Andriy Shevchenko was also on the score sheet.

Ironically, though it's labeled as a decider, the outcome of tonight's match might end up not
carrying much weight when things come to a close. Because even with a win tonight, we'd have to
count on Ukraine dropping points to either Belarus tonight or England in one month's time. And if
on par with points before the very last fixture, goal difference would kick in, meaning basically
we'd go head to head as to who can batter their opponents more on the night (those unlucky sides
being Kazahstan and Andorra respectively).
It seems strange that a team that has gained 22 points from a possible 24 is not yet guaranteed
World Cup qualification. Whilst it is true that England, Netherlands and Spain have perfect
qualification records, Germany might feel like they have also done enough already. In fact they
face a tense climax to their qualification campaign.
