23rd December – There are so many stories published about Manchester United that it's impossible
to keep up with all of them. Truly Reds does it's best to bring you the latest news but only so

It felt like forever waiting to watch United play again. After that incredible display against
Blackburn followed up by the dismal showing against West Ham, I for one was eager to see which team
would show up next. Unfortunately, our game over the weekend got cancelled due to the weather. So,
our players were well rested and probably itching to get out there.
It was not easy but the job was completed in the end. Mind you, had only half the chances created
by Manchester United been taken, the game could have been won before half time. Not for the
first...

The Champions League group stages have been extremely exciting this season, and as the knockout
stages draw nearer, we're beginning to see the sides which will take part in the latter stages of
the competition. Right now, the sides which have qualified are: Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan,
Barcelona, Copenhagen, Schalke 04, Lyon, Manchester United, Valencia, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Real
Madrid, and AC Milan.
Manchester United played Valencia to a draw, which secured both clubs advancement into the next
round of the competition; with United going through as group leaders and avoiding a second-round
clash with Real Madrid, Barcelona, or Chelsea because they will all finish as group leaders. The
round of 16 draw will be held December 17th.

Like the unicorn, the leprechaun and chocolate popcorn, the Brazilian footballer has taken on a
mythical status in the modern day.
All flair and tricks with oodles of skill, the Brazilian is meant to signal all that is great about
football, with the greatest Brazilian of them all (please keep any filthy jokes to yourself) Pele
having coined the phrase "the beautiful game".
It's finally hitting me that we're still undefeated. Granted, Chelsea next week will be our
biggest test yet, but we have played Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and City and compiled a nice 3 wins
and 1 draw against that lot. Not too shabby I would say even if those 3 wins have come at OT.
We reverted to a 5 man midfield to counter theirs with Berba once again being the casualty for
this tactical formation.
Patrice Evra was right. Arsenal are a club in crisis and a side which will never win the league
under Arsene Wenger again.
The French manager has built a team of bottlers – the likes of which Thierry Henry and Patrick
Vieira would cringe at watching.
On Monday night against Manchester United the Gunners never had a better opportunity to
capitalise on their position as league leaders and get one over on their old rivals in a big
way.
Midfield maestro Anderson has signed a new contract with Manchester United keeping him at the
club until June 2015.
The Brazilian has enjoyed mixed fortunes since moving to Old Trafford from FC Porto, but his
recent form has prompted the club to extend his existing contract.
Last week we wrote how Anderson could reignite United's title challenge, and his performance
against Arsenal on Monday seemed to reinforce this.
Man United's Brazilian midfielder has signed a new deal with the club, which will see him stay
until 2015. The 22-year old had been suffering from injuries and survived a horror car crash
earlier...

News has broken today that Manchester United Midfielder Anderson has put pen to paper on a new
four-and-a-half year contract to stay with the Red Devils.
The news has come after a recent string of strong performances in a United shirt. Transfer
speculation concerning the player was rife during the summer after the Brazilian was struggling to
come back to form following a serious knee ligament injury sustained last season.
Anderson has today signed a contract extension with the club that keeps him here until 2015.
Following a falling out with the manager, a lengthy injury, a car accident after leaving a
nightclub drawing the small hours during recovery, being linked with a return to Gremio, Anderson
has finally got his place back in the team and has been performing well.
Brazilian midfielder Anderson Luís de Abreu Oliveira has signed a four-and-a-half year
contract, that will see the 22-year-old stay at Old Trafford until June 2015.
"We are delighted he has signed a new contract," Ferguson told manutd.com
"Anderson has developed tremendously since joining us and he has fantastic potential at only 22;
he is going to be a really top player.

Our inability to win away from home continues. This undesirable trend that began 2 games into
our season has seen us draw 7 out of the 8 away games we've played so far.
Gibson got a rare start with Park jetting off to play for his country. As I've mentioned before,
Park does plenty of little things well and I believe United felt the void left by his absence as
their play lacked the fluidity that was on display over the weekend.
