In United's press conference ahead of tomorrow night's Europa League game, Sir Alex Ferguson has
confirmed that both Tom Cleverley and Anderson are available for selection after coming back from
injury.
Anders Lindegaard damaged his ankle in training after claiming the starting place in the team
from David de Gea.
The statistics this morning read; Manchester United joint top but still second in the table due to
an inferior goal difference compared to that of Manchester City. Our neighbours lost thanks to
a...

After having been reducing to a flapping and floundering wreck in the Anfield penalty area,
David De Gea is likely to have spent much of Sunday in a darkened room shaking at the prospect of
being confronted with any of the further tall, muscle bound players the Premier League has to
offer. But a twisted ankle suffered by Anders Lindegaard means that Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to
be left with no option but to force the young Spaniard to confront his demons in his sides clash
with Stoke the evening.
Despite struggling to overtake David de Gea as Manchester United's outright first choice
goalkeeper, Anders Lindegaard has the highest save percentage in the Premier League through 20
games.
The Dane, who caught people's attention when he kept 5 clean sheets in his first 5 Premier
League starts has saved 84.
With the debate over Manchester United's first-team goalkeeper raging ferociously, this author
steps back and lets the statistics do the talking. Bereft of self confidence and devoid of
regular...

The final whistle is blown at the Etihad Stadium and it is safe and fair to say that Manchester

New year, new resolutions! 2011 brought United their long awaited 19th League title, an 8-2 win
against Arsenal, a dramatic Charity Shield win versus Manchester City in August, and much, much
more. No doubt Sir Alex Ferguson will want to make 2012 an even better year for the club, as the
now 70-year old manager [.

After witnessing Manchester United defeat against Blackburn Rovers for our New Year's Eve match, I

Manchester United exorcised the hoodoo of Craven Cottage in emphatic fashion yesterday with a 5-0
trashing of the home side. A very good result in the festive season that we are in, heading

Tomasz Kuszczak's recent declaration that he is being treated "like a slave" at Manchester
United is certainly a dramatic overstatement but the goalkeeper's situation also warrants
sympathy.
Many have countered that if being a slave is training everyday and picking up a hefty paycheck,
more than a lot of people make in a year, then they would happily accept the hypothetical shackles
the Pole is chained to with Sir Alex Ferguson's side.
Following another game for United in last night's Champions League victory in Romania, Anders
Lindegaard has spoken highly of the way our club prepare for every game.
"One of the things that impressed me most when I came to United is that every game is
handled the same way," he said.
Lost amid all the debates and media coverage about the respective merits of David De Gea and
Anders Lindegaard, Tomasz Kuszczak silently fades into oblivion and obscurity, left out in the cold
by Alex Ferguson and stranded at Old Trafford with his only football coming on the Carrington
training ground and in meaningless reserve matches.
After playing in Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Benfica in the Champions League last night,
Anders Lindegaard has reiterated his desire to get the number one jersey.
Sir Alex Ferguson has already claimed that David de Gea is our first choice, although Lindegaard
should expect plenty of appearances in the cup competitions.

The Faryd Mondragon/David Beckham connection continues after the MLS All-Stars 4–0 defeat to
Manchester United. In Soccer America's player ratings for Wednesday night's All-Star Game,
Mondragon's "6″ is the highest rating received, with only Beckham and Jamison Olave sharing that
number.
Manchester United's new goalie, Anders Lindegaard, has revealed there is footage of him from a
few years ago saying that he wanted to play for a club. Since signing, he has reiterated that he
has been a United fan since he was a little lad, with posters of our players, including fellow
Dane, Peter Schmeichel, on his bedroom wall.
If Anders Lindegaard can impress on the pitch as much as he is doing off it, we're looking at
our next long term number 1.
The 26-year-old Dane has to the Evening News about his aspirations at the club he grew up
supporting, claiming he isn't here just to warm the bench and pick up his pay cheque.
