In a meeting of National Teamers at the AFAS Stadion, Jozy Altidore's AZ got the better of Sacha Kljestan's Anderlecht with a 1-0 win in the opening leg of their Round of 32 series. Adam Maher scored the game's only goal in the 35th minute. Kljestan started, with Altidore subbing on in the 76th minute.

A rash of injuries and illness have left U.S. men's national team manager Jurgen Klinsmann with a weakened roster ahead of Wednesday's match against Italy, making his decisions on a starting lineup that much tougher.

The loss of Landon Donovan, Timmy Chandler and Jose Torres, coming on the heels of losing Oguchi Onyewu has left Klinsmann with a group that won't quite look like the nearly full-strength side he looked like he would have available in Genoa on Wednesday.

Sacha Kljestan has quietly put together a solid season for RSC Anderlecht, but he made some noise in the club's latest win on Sunday.

Kljestan scored his third goal of the season (fourth across all competitions) in Anderlecht's 4-2 win over Racing Genk when he fired home a free kick from 30 yards out.

Rangers, who were docked 10 points after formally entering administration earlier this week, could face a tax bill of around $156 million.
