Here in North America the most popular footie highlights review show is The Fox Soccer Report, an
hour-long hodgepodge of highlights and analysis delivered with Canadian accents and covering
football from all around the world.
Here in America, ESPN is truly the "Worldwide Leader In Sports." Millions of people wake up with
Sportscenter in the morning, and go to bed with it on in the evening. Anyone in America that
follows sports seemingly gets their information from ESPN.
The only problem? ESPN has literally no respect for soccer.
It's just a rumour right now, but it's one which will have most football fans salivating. Is
Martin Tyler in talks with ESPN to become one of the network's commentators for its coverage of the
2010 World Cup?
In an interview with Sports Illustrated published today, ESPN's executive vice president for
content John Skipper said that ""we will have international talent.
A number of players can stake a claim for being part of the best team in the world at this early
period of the European domestic leagues. However, very few players standout the way those listed
below have in terms of their contribution to their team, their role as leaders, and certainly their
crucial involvement in their respective clubs.
The biggest sporting event on the planet, the soccer World Cup, will be held in South Africa next
June. Today, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the international
governing body of soccer (which some parts of the world still call football) staged, er, held its
draw to decide the makeup of the eight groups.

Former Minnesota Thunder player Marco Terminesi was named the Major Indoor Soccer League
(MISL) player of the week after his nine-point performance this past Saturday evening.
Terminesi scored 3 goals (including one 3-pointer) and had two assists in the Milwaukee Wave's 27-6
thrashing of the Philadelphia KiXX.
