Although Chelsea will take on a West Ham side that are rock-bottom of the Premier League on
Saturday, the trip to Upton Park represents Ancelotti's toughest task so far this season, and
Chelsea will have to up their game to continue their stunning start to the season.
Chelsea have had nothing short of seamless start.

La quarta giornata di Premier League si apre, alle 12 e 45 di sabato, con la
sfida tra Everton e Manchester United. I "Red
Devils", appaiati al secondo posto iinsieme all'Arsenal a quota 7
punti, due in meno dello schiacciasassi Chelsea di Ancelotti,
capolista a punteggio pieno, chiedono strada all'undici di David Moyes per non
mollare la presa sui rivali londinesi.
Today sees the return of the EPL, how did we cope without it during the Summer. The World Cup of
course softened the blow, but I have been having withdrawls during this international break. It is
not fair to bring it back and then to make us all go cold turkey suddenly after a just a week or
two.
Last night's Champions League action saw a surprising (in a negative way) draw for Manchester
United versus Rangers and a surprising (in a positive way) draw for Spurs against Werder Bremen.
Don't expect anything like that tonight though, with Chelsea playing MSK Zilina and Arsenal up
against Portuguese League runners-up Braga.
Jose Bosingwa has not played a competitive match since October 2009, nearly a year. Is the
Portugese fullback finally ready to make his return?
Been a while, mate.
It looks like he is. A little nugget at the end of an article on the official website regarding
tactics (why is this in an article on tactics?
King Carlo confirmed today what he had said in the preseason and what many of us were hoping. A
nice chunk of youth will be on display in this season's Carling Cup.
Chelsea host Newcastle at Stamford Bridge in the third round of the competition on Wednesday.
Ancelotti announced that Daniel Sturridge, Gael Kakuta, Patrick Van Aanholt and Jeffrey Bruma will
all start against the Magpies.
"El Milán de Sacchi cambió para siempre el fútbol con una nueva forma de
defender"
La frase es de Emilio Butragueño, que sufrió en sus carnes una forma
colectiva perfecta de defender.
El Milán de Arrigo Sacchi fue el mejor equipo del mundo desde 1989 hasta 1995,
ya bajo la dirección de Fabio Capello.
Last week's 4-star match certainly lived up to its billing! And do we already have the goal of
the season from Berbatov, just 5 matches in?
This weekend leads off with a fantastic 4-star match, Man City v Chelsea. Ancelotti's team
finally face a stiffer test, after their Wednesday exit from the League Cup, and they have
Marseille and Arsenal visiting Stamford Bridge too before the international break.
Last Wednesday can be remembered as one of Chelsea's bad day as not only they suffered a 4-3
defeat against Newcastle United in the Carling Cup, the Blues also lost some players because of
injury.
Both Salomon Kalou and Yossi Benayoun were forced to be stretchered out from the field during
the game, forcing Carlo Anceloti's side finishing the match playing with only 10 men.
Chelsea tasted defeat for the first time this season when they were beaten by Manchester City
yesterday. A Carlos Tevez goal-the only one on the day, was enough to sink the blues and give them
something to think about ahead of European action this week.
After losing their midweek Carling Cup Match to Newcastle, Ancelotti was quick to point out that
the tournament was never their priority this season.
Manchester City and Chelsea have provided some of the biggest talking points in football in
recent years, with their hundreds of millions of pounds thrown at teams for some of the world's
best players. This weekend, they faced each other on the pitch; and for the third time in a row
City defeated the champions.

This is just a hunch, but I am about to bet real money that both Didier Drogba
and Fernando Torres will be playing in the sky blue of Manchester City next
season, with Emmanuel Adebayor (definitely) and Carlos Tevez (possibly) nowhere to be seen at
Eastlands.
bomber Tevez.

There are some players who are just meant to stay with a certain club all through out their
career. The thought of them leaving, is well, just unthinkable. We have seen it in the past with
Shevchenko, Henry and most recently Kaka where these players after leaving failed to make an impact
in their new clubs.
