Basking in the afterglow of a rare West Ham win, I have been browsing at some statistics on the
most creative Premiership players so far in the English Premier League 2009/2010 season. What I
used to gauge creativity is the amount of chances created and assists credited, which should be a
fair enough assessment of a player's creativity.
As if just to antagonise Chelsea fans, Fabregas was widely quoted yesterday as saying Chelsea
would be merely an average side were it not for Didier Drogba.
Having watched his side's defence get pummelled by the Ivorian just over a week ago, you can
perhaps understand Fabregas' comments.
Chelsea had already won their CL group, so this result one of the most memorable in Apoel's
history was hardly a big surprise, especially given that Carlo 'Benny' Ancelotti picked a slightly
weakened team (no Cech, Lampard or Anelka in the starting line-up). Open, entertaining match,
though.
Today Chelsea have confirmed the worst possible news for the short term, that Michael Essien will
be out for three to four weeks after tearing his hamstring. This is sad news for Michael first of
all with the African Nations cup on the horizon in January, but for us Chelsea fans its a major
blow as we look to get our form back on track starting this weekend against Everton.
Despite being constantly linked with all kinds of strikers, Carlo Ancelotti's Chelsea will
definately not be signing a striker in the January Transfer window. And to prove he's not lying,
he's promised he'll run naked in the Stamford Bridge snow if he goes back on his word. "There's no
way I [...]

Chelsea's number one goalkeeper Petr Cech has had a successful career with the London club since
joining in the summer of 2004. He's recovered from a serious head injury which nearly cost him his
life and set a EPL record for 1025 minutes without conceding a goal. Cech has been an integral part
of Chelsea's rise in the last five years.
Ultima chiamata.
bianconeri di Ciro Ferrara avranno il compito di trovare almeno un pareggio nella partita casalinga
contro il Bayern Monaco che ha, invece, bisogno del successo per poter brindare alla
qualificazione.
It's that time again: the time when bridgeviews.co.uk takes a look back over the last month and
what the stats tells us about Chelsea's progress. This time, the focus is on all or nothing
football, defence being king and a developing trend away from home...
It's all or nothing
Into the fifth month of the Premier League season, it's remarkable
that Chelsea are yet to draw a game.

So we all knew that we had won the group and last nights game, Matchday 6 of the Champions League
group stage could possibly of been a non-event. I still would of liked us to go out and stamp our
authority on the game and the Champions League.
Ancelotti rotated the side once more to give players a game and some players a rest.

Normally being top of the table at Christmas with a record points lead would be seen as a good
thing. And I guess it is. But things, especially in football, are rarely that simple, and widening
chinks in Chelsea's armour raise a real concern that a golden opportunity to reclaim the title
might not come to fruition.

"Paperone" Abramovich è pronto a soddisfare le richieste di Carlo Ancelotti. Pronta la valigetta
con i contanti, ben 62 milioni di euro, la societ del magnate russo si prepara a intervenire sul
mercato. Si avvicina gennaio, e con esso la Coppa D'Africa, e i londinesi, dopo lo "sblocco" del
Tas possono procedere a rafforzare l'organico che, per un mesetto, perder pezzi pregiati tra i
quali il fuoriclasse ivoriano Drogba.
Wow. Been a while since my last post on here hey. I apologize. Blame it on a combination of
Christmas preparations and some part time work. Yes to put it using some cool lingo, I'm making
bare paper innit (well at least till the first week of New Year). All I wanted for christmas was
a job and it turns out I got my wish.
