The silence has been deafening from the Emirates. The silence that is, to deny that Adebayor
is not leaving the club.
In the past and we can look at Vieira, every season he was with us, Henry for the last three
season, Cesc last two seasons and even Adebayor last season, Wenger was very vocal in telling
everyone that these players were going nowhere.
Well before I start I've got a lot two get through. So this might take a while!
£15 million bid for Melo
According to "News of the World" and the "Daily Mirror" Arsenal have made a £15 million bid for
Brazil and Fiorentina's defensive midfield player, as I already discussed a few days earlier to
this post.
News that has "hit" locally comes from the English paper "New ofThe World" is that CHELSEA FC is
preparing a Football earthquake. The idea of Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich & his new CoachCarlo
Ancelotti is to put together Spanish International FERNANDOTORRES & DAVID VILLA in the English
teams forward line, theestimate cost is 100M€.

Basking in the afterglow of a rare West Ham win, I have been browsing at some statistics on the
most creative Premiership players so far in the English Premier League 2009/2010 season. What I
used to gauge creativity is the amount of chances created and assists credited, which should be a
fair enough assessment of a player's creativity.
"Zeru tituli" is a code word in both Inter and AC Milan's history.
It refers to Massimo Ambrosini's two year old Inter taunt when AC won the 2007 CL finals.
On March 3rd, Mourinho threw the taunt back as he said the Rossoneri would win no titles more
than two months before the end of the season.
This tough cookie should be part of the deal
It as they say, quite complicated. Adebayor has been talking from both sides of his mouth which
helps him maintain his options. Does he have the gumption to stick it out with his stock hitting
rock bottom or start anew?
Silvio Berlusconi is very keen on landing the Togolese striker but Milan's summer shows a lot of
upheaval.
sempre all'Old Trafford, contro lo Stoke City.
As if just to antagonise Chelsea fans, Fabregas was widely quoted yesterday as saying Chelsea
would be merely an average side were it not for Didier Drogba.
Having watched his side's defence get pummelled by the Ivorian just over a week ago, you can
perhaps understand Fabregas' comments.
‘Sheva' has done precious little to help Ancelotti's cause this season, however, the Ukrainian
was instrumental in brokering the coach's switch to the Premier League. Andriy Shevchenko may have
been a flop on the football field with Milan this season, but it seems he could find employment in
his life after football as a translator.
Milan coach revealed in his book a couple of things we did not know about his
career. He didn't miss the chance to poke Jose Mourinho on a couple of occasions.
Berlusconi, who stopped him from joining Real in 2006, will decide whether
he is staying at Milan or not.
Well... we wouldn't have guessed the irony of this photo after Milan's 2-0 victory over
Fiorentina last night. It wasn't just Paolo Maldini's last official game for the Rossoneri - but
also Ancelotti's. After eight memorable years, we bid goodbye to Carlo. But if he
goes to Chelski (notice the second irony : Adrian Mutu's name in the backdrop), he should expect a
drastic change in his managerial duties.
Despite media reports that Carlo Ancelotti, the new Chelsea coach couldn't speak
English, Ancelotti gave his first interview in ENGLISH!!
Watch here.
Chelsea, unaware that no means no, made a silly bid for Alexandre Pato which was firmly rejected
(they say "English club", but they're not fooling anyone). Then Silvio Berlusconi all but offered
up Andrea Pirlo to London due to his silly wages, but Andrea and his hair are not interested in
moving away from Milan.
Didier Drogba (on Inter Milan, Ancelotti, Transfer Market), Peter Cech (on Ancelotti and John
Terry), the exceptionally soft-spoken Michael Essien (on John Terry), Florent Malouda (on
Manchester United, John Terry, Lakers Hat, Ancelotti, diamond formation, Mourinho), Claudio Pizarro
(on World Football Challenge and US Soccer in English y Espanol), Andrey Shevchenko (on his future
with Chelsea), Ivan Cordoba (en Espanol), and Ancelotti (in Italinao)
What do you think?
I saw Milan play some of the most insipid soccer against Chievo this weekend. They should
consider themselves lucky to escape with a win.
Ancelotti manages a club that is a shelter for players reaching retirement age, wracked with
injuries, and who are discarded by other clubs. Through this osmotic process, Beckham came back to
his warm embrace and so did Sheva.
(Udinese-Milan 1-0. D'Agostino su calcio di rigore)
(2-0. Zapata da pochi passi, sull'angolo di D'Agostino, il migliore in campo)
(2-1. Ambrosini)
UDINESE: Handanovic; Isla, Zapata, Felipe, Pasquale; Inler, D'Agostino, Asamoah; Pepe (44'st
Lukovic), Quagliarella, Floro Flores (25'st Sanchez).
Man City have denied making a €150m bid to for one Lionel Messi, activating his buyout clause. A
bid which wouldn't bat a solitary eye. You know...no one's actually supposed to be able to use
those clauses. They're strictly prohibitive measures. Barcelona will supposedly raid London,
bringing Cesc back home and extraditing Ashley Cole.
Last weekend's FA Cup final merely served to rubberstamp what we all knew anyway, Guus Hiddink
is something of a managerial genius. Indeed, it is a testament to how the Dutchman has gotten his
Chelsea side to perform over these past 3 months, that even when Everton opened the scoring at
Wembley, there was still an inevitable sense that they would recover to turn it around.
Today's rumours are going to attempt to set a world record for the number of consecutive words to
be written about summer deals without easy recourse to the names Cristiano, Gareth or Xabi. In much
the same way that the Irish Sea is crying out for a dash more toxic spew from Sellafield, Chelsea
desperately need [.
Bayern Munich are claiming that Chelsea, Manchester United, and Barcelona have all made offers
for French international Franck Ribéry. According to Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the
club were approached by Florentino Perez regarding the possibility of a transfer. He added, "We
rejected the chance and we have no intention of selling Ribéry.
Inter Milan and the World Football Challenge were kind enough to setup this press conference at the
Four Seasons Hotel in LA with Inter Milan midfielder, Esteban Cambiasso, ahead of Tuesday's World
Football Challenge match of Chelsea vs Inter Milan at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA.
Some of the highlights of the press conference were:
-He believes that the World Football Challenge match is just a friendly and that the animosity
between Chelsea coach Ancelotti and Inter coach Mourinho will have no effect.
Rounding up all the days biggest transfer news and gossip.
Arsene Wenger Slaps Jean-Louis Triaud In The Face... Figuratively Speaking
Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud has slated the Arsenal manager for his insulting £5M bid for
striker Marouane Chamakh. Wenger has been interested in acquiring the services of the striker for a
few weeks and has his initial bid turned down.
Hello Diary!
Things just seem to keep getting better for yours truly.
Since the wonderful tour that nobody kicked me off of in the United States of America, I have
caught the return flight home by a whisker, this time in Mr. Malouda's giant purse, and have found
myself back in my adopted home of London, England.
Apart from transfer rumours, commentary on managers probably forms the bulk of football chatter.
Before, during and after every game, every decision is scrutinised; every minute move debated;
tactics, strategy, man-management, motivation, appearance all feed into an endless discourse
debating whether any given manager is succeeding or not.
Here at our pick of the fixtures for the weekend coming...
Sheffield United vs Sheffield United Friday Night
The famous steel city
derby is sure to be a tense and exciting affair. Wednesday did the double over United last year for
the first time in ninety-something years and Kevin Blackwell's boys will be looking to avenge
that.
Chelsea sits at the top of the Premier League after yesterday's 3-0 victory over Tottenham at
Stamford Bridge yesterday. Ancelotti have set a new club record of 11 straight wins.Overall,
Chelsea were moving at third gear for most of the game, yet won reasonably comfortably in the end.
Didier Drogba gave a 'thumbs' up to an £18 million-plus-player transfer to
Manchester City last year, but Chelsea ultimately decided to keep him rather than Luiz Felipe
Scolari, acording to his agent. Chelsea striker Drogba has been linked to a host of clubs, and his
representative, the Senegalese Thierno Seydi, has revealed that two teams made concrete [.

Which Is the Most Exciting Title Race in European Football?
As domestic seasons wind down across Europe, there are many thrilling title races to follow, but
which is the one most worth watching?
AC Milan - who seem to be playing weekly football like old veterans do - kept their title
chances alive with a 2-0 win over Catania last night. And Pippooooo and Kaka both
scored! Yes, we see the light in your eyes.
Milan opened the scoring on 27 minutes after Kaka burst into the area and fed Inzaghi for his
trademark poacher's finish.
After eight years ‘Carleto' is leaving Milan. Even though he has expressed
desire to stay, it seems that Berlusconi has got other plans. The reports are suggesting that
defence-minded coach, who has been widely criticized for playing with a lone striker in most of the
games, has accepted Chelsea's offer and looks set to sign a four-year-deal.
Man City deny Messi rumors. Shouldn't it be the other way round? Why on Earth
would Messi go to Oil City?
Maradona loves the way Argentina played against Panama.
Ancelotti to bid farewell to Milan with Paolo Maldini, if you believe his
"close confidants".
Carlo Ancelotti wants Brazilian Alexandre Pato and ex-Chelsea defender Glen Johnson to kick-start
his Blue revolution. The new Stamford Bridge boss, confirmed as Guus Hiddink's replacement
yesterday, believes the pair could help him win the Champions League. SunSport can reveal
Ancelotti, 49, has already offered his old club AC Milan £30m for 19-year-old striker Pato.
Swiss International Philippe Senderos revealed he wants to stay with Italian giants A.C. Milan
although his future depends on what Arsenal decide.
He said:
I expect news on my future but it depends on Arsenal. I want to continue at Milan because I
cannot see a place for me with the Gunners.
It's sad when you type in 'AC Milan' into photo slug boxes and Kaka's Real Madrid Welcome
Party is the first result to come up. Can't Uncle Fester Galliani and
gang organize a golf tournament or charity match to keep the fans occupied? Have Milan even been
doing anything at all?
As had been somewhat expected yet kind of shocking, really Frank Arnesen, chief scout and
director of youth development at Chelsea, has now added sporting director to his list of
responsibilities at Stamford Bridge.
What the hell is a sporting director, you ask? The hell if I know.
But, really, supposedly Arnesen will act as a sort of liason between Ancelotti and the board,
specifically Peter Kenyon, with regard to transfer targets.

Uh-oh, looks like these two tios won't be having backyard barbecues
anytime soon, judging from Ancelotti's curt words.
"Mourinho is a colleague, not a friend. I have friends outside of football he is just a
colleague and as such I respect him," the Italian told The Sunday Times.
Seasons are starting, so not much this time. The final four will be injury updates:
- Luis Fabiano not thinking about Milan.
- Ancelotti denies Pato-to-Chelsea negotiations.
- Pirlo defends Blues snub.
- Fulham gets Dempsey for four more years.
Now some injuries.
