The title of the post says it all. Jose came back to Chelsea and said "I never lose at Chelsea" and
he was right. Before I speak about the game and the players, the fact of the matter is that Jose
has out-foxed Ancelotti twice now in the matter of weeks and has beaten us twice.
There are people who will have different opinons on the why and how etc but its there in black and
white.

PREVIEW:
Here's a question for you Chelsea Fans. When was the last time West Ham won an away game in the
Premier League?. I can tell you, back in August when they beat Wolves 2-0. Ever since that game
they have struggled away from home and this has been their downfall and the reason as to why they
are where they are in the League.

Tomorrow we welcome Burnley to The Emirates, the Mancs face Wolves away and the Chavs are at
home to Stoke City in the FA Cup.. We know Stoke can give any team a hard time in more ways than
one and as much as it pains me to say this, but I will be cheering them on against Chelsea on
Sunday
OOps, I have just been advised this is a cup match for the chavs, all the better I say,
we can put more pressure on them with a win!

Jose Mourinho and Inter Milan won the first leg as they beat Carlos Ancelotti's Chelsea team 2-1
in the first leg of their Champions League tie.
Milito set the San Siro alight with a third-minute goal but Chelsea responded strongly and,
after Didier Drogba had been denied by the crossbar, Salomon Kalou levelled six minutes into the
second period.

So John Terry today begins his time off from football to get his personal life and the situation he
has found himself in sorted out in Dubai. Now I have said from day one since the story broke that
what he does off the pitch is his business and all I care about is what he does for Chelsea on the
pitch for those 90 mins.

Unstoppable at present
No I haven't started writing for FHM, I'm just trialling a new format which I have to fess up
straight away and admit I've "borrowed" from Sports Illustrated's golf scribe Alan Shipnuck. The
Hot List is a weekly feature he writes  and I like the punchy, entertaining way in which the
column's delivered.

Mourinho.

Sir Alex Ferguson must not be enjoying his Chinese New Year.
He saw two very different Manchester United sides in a matter of days at the San Siro and
Goodison Park. I can picture him throwing mahjong chips and pineapple tarts at his players, who
blew a golden "hong bao" opportunity to leapfrog Chelsea at the Premier League summit.

Today Chelsea travel to Turf Moor as we look to re-establish a four point lead over Man United and
Arsenal who don't play until tomorrow. Its a chance to get our noses in front once more and put the
pressure back on them two.
Chelsea are looking to complete the double over Burnley after our win at the Bridge earlier in the

The Champions League will feature a hotly contested tie between Italian champions Inter and
English club Chelsea. There are many story-lines beyond Jose Mourinho's return to Stamford Bridge
as the winner of this Round of 16 clash should have safe passage to the semi-finals where European
champions Barcelona will likely be waiting.

Serie A Talk 30 January @ 03:39 AM EDT
The Serie A season has perhaps been overshadowed by the struggles of Juventus which have
culminated in the firing of Coach Ciro Ferrara. While it has been gloomy in Turin, the city of
Milan has witnessed the revival of the Rossoneri but more importantly the continued dominance of
the Nerazzurri on the domestic scene.

An evening stroll for Chelsea, this. They brushed aside in-form Birmingham like Roger Federer
crushes unseeded players in the first round of majors, i.e. with disdain and efficiency.
Frank Lampard scored twice clinical strikes, both after Florent Malouda had put
Chelsea in front with a routine header in the fifth minute.

Since the season began – and Chelsea made such a good start to their Premier League campaign
– much has been made of the potential impact of this month's African Cup of Nations on
Ancelotti's title hopes. The loss of the influential Drogba and Essien, who have scored 23 goals
and made 8 assists for Chelsea so far this season between them, would surely spell disaster for
Chelsea's title charge.

BURNLEY (14th, 20 points from 20 games)

Without further ado however, it is suddenly that time again: the time to look back over the
previous month and what the stats tell us about Chelsea's progress this season.

mountains with nothing to sustain us besides frozen pizza, Straub beer, and... hmm that sounds like
most nights at ours, well there was loads to watch on the football box.
We'll skip to the highlights since most of the lowlights include Manchester City unfortunately
looking pretty good so far under Il Manch, and Liverpool looking, well pretty Liverpool right now.

"Now is the winter of our discontent, made glorious summer by this sun of York"
(Shakespeare- Richard III)
Yes, I know a bit of culture is always welcomed by the Soccerlens readers and who better than
The Bard himself to open this piece? Of course Will actually meant that the time of discontent was
waning (in it's 'winter'), while I borrow the great man's phrase to suggest that down Stamford
Bridge way the words winter and discontent are becoming synonymous in recent seasons.

Basking in the afterglow of a rare West Ham win, I have been browsing at some statistics on the
most creative Premiership players so far in the English Premier League 2009/2010 season. What I
used to gauge creativity is the amount of chances created and assists credited, which should be a
fair enough assessment of a player's creativity.

Normally being top of the table at Christmas with a record points lead would be seen as a good
thing. And I guess it is. But things, especially in football, are rarely that simple, and widening
chinks in Chelsea's armour raise a real concern that a golden opportunity to reclaim the title
might not come to fruition.

Today Chelsea have confirmed the worst possible news for the short term, that Michael Essien will

As if just to antagonise Chelsea fans, Fabregas was widely quoted yesterday as saying Chelsea
