could potentially signal the beginning of the end to the club drought that has plagued him
throughout the majority of 2009.

Brad Friedel is enjoying a great start to the Premiership season, and it could get even better
for him this weekend.
Friedel and Aston Villa head to Ewood Park this Saturday to take on Friedel's former club,
Blackburn Rovers. A win for Friedel in the stadium he is so familiar with, in front of the fans
that used to cheer him on, would truly cap off the 38-year-old's remarkable start to the season, a
start that includes three shutouts and 23 saves.

Tim Howard and Everton are struggling, having won only once in their last seven games, but the
anguish of a disappointing season can be eased considerably with a victory in the Merseyside
Derby.
Everton plays host to arch-rival Liverpool on Sunday, and they will need a solid performance out
of Howard and his defense in order to win and avoid falling further near the drop zone.

Clint Dempsey has cooled down a bit since achieving a rapid-fire scoring streak over the past
seven weeks, but Dempsey will have an opportunity to reignite that streak this weekend, only his
chance comes against an EPL heavyweight.
Dempsey and Fulham play host to Manchester United, which is still trying to make up for its 1-0
