"You brought us across the Atlantic for this?" - Piqué may or may not have been
saying.
After a season of controversy and division amongst Real Madrid and Barcelona's stars, the United
States decided to present Spain with a gift.

Hello and welcome to game day!
The United States Men's National finds itself one game away from a possible Gold Cup final
showdown against Mexico.
By Puck Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome back into the Happy Hour—Special Gold Cup Final edition. It
has certainly been a rollercoaster month for USMNT fans. After dispatching Canada, I personally
witnessed (along with the rest of the AO Tampa crew) the worst loss in the Bradley era against
Panama in Tampa.
Editor's Note: In a pinch we were asked by the American Outlaws to pen their "scouting
report" for today's match against Paraguay. Don't forget to check out our beer recommendations
about halfway through as well.
You may know me from such films as American Outlaws: Austin Edition, but my most famous work comes
from my appearances on the hit website, Free Beer Movement.

In addition to another victory over the defending World Cup champions, every AO member is going to
pick up one of these awesome Nike/AO collaboration shirts to to help pain Gillette Stadium red for
the afternoon's match (too bad that's also the main color of Spain's jersey, but whatever.

A busy soccer weekend just passed and it's leading into more football goodness all week with the
start of the Gold Cup.
But first off, some of the American Outlaws decided to meet up at Fox & Hound close to Lockhart
Stadium stadium to watch the USA vs Spain game. this was a pinful game to watch as the American's
were schooled by a much better Spanish side.
While we've been in Kansas City its been a phenomenal time and in between Thursday's Sporting KC
home opener and the now massive USMNT match on Tuesday we've had some time to kill.

This weekend we have a soccer Saturday in South Florida.
It begins at 7:30 pm when the Fort Lauderdale Strikers play against the Puerto Rico Islanders at
the Mecca of South Florida soccer, Lockhart Stadium.
The Strikers are on a 5 game undefeated streak and look to extend that at home against an Islanders
team that come off a 3-1 victory over the Atlanta Silverbacks.
The United States Men's National Team booked their ticket to Pasadena and the Gold Cup Final
against Mexico on Saturday. Here are a few selected shots from the pre-game festivities at American
Outlaws: Houston's chapter bar, the march (or train ride) to the match, the crowd, and the
game.

Welcome to the former home of The Aztexan, a former fan blog of the former Austin Aztex pro
soccer team. Soccer supporters in central Texas had three good years backing our lads in red &
white before they gave up on us and skedaddled off to Orlando late one October night. (If you're
interested in the history of that departure, you can read the previous five posts below.

(@AFootballReport)Americans love a good beer, and a free beer more so. Catalans, amongst tapas, sangria, fine wine,
Gaudi, and Shakira, love their local beer, Estrella Damm.
Drum roll, please.....
The time has come to roll out a brand, spankin' new Free Beer Movement t-shirt! Yes, folks, that's
right after months of anticipation (at least for us) we're debuting this awesomely, epic shirt.
Our friends at Objectivo/Ultras are back again to support the making, retailing, and shipping of
the shirt so if we're already sold you head on over there right away!

Earlier this year Grant Wahl made waves in global soccer by declaring himself a candidate for the
FIFA presidency. Wahl was not nominated by any member nation's federation, but a light was shone
upon Sepp Blatter's unopposed run for his fourth term as the leader of the world's game. In the end
Qatar's Mohamed Bin Hammam stepped up to complete for FIFA's top job and Blatter squirms a bit more
as the world questions just how beneficial his reign has been.
The Philly Soccer Page » Who's driving this thing?
As the Union return to Earth from their improbable early season success, questions abound as the
defense tires and the offense continues to sputter. Despite an excellent start against Dallas, the
Union netted another goose egg and looked mentally fragile as they folded like a card table once
Brek Shea broke the deadlock.
Grant Wahl is the best-selling author of "The Beckham Experiment" and the head soccer writer for
Sport Illustrated. Earlier this year he unsuccessfully ran to be nominated for the FIFA
Presidency.
In part two of our conversation with Wahl he talks about that run for FIFA's top job, Sport
Illustrated's growing soccer coverage in print and online, beer in Qatar, this summer's Gold Cup,
early impact players for Brazil 2014, and the soccer's growth in the United States.

firefighting?
We're hoping in the FBMobile (actually just a Toyota Corolla) and road tripping to the land of
saucy BBQ and Boulevard Beer....Kansas City!
We've got a whole slate of fun stuff going on as we're attending both the grand opening of
LIVESTRONG Sporting Park on June 9th and staying through to the USMNT match on June 14th against
Guadeloupe.
A Supportive Saturday Afternoon - A short film by Eric and Jordan
Beard
The texture of passion often lacks definition. However, when loyalty befriends sheer strength in
numbers, clarity arises.
64,121 people showed up to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts to see the United
States Men's National Team play Spain on Saturday, June 4th.
After all the hullabaloo we started up the other day over Americans supporting other teams it's
nice to take in a video that show, really, how far we've come. For all the frustrations and
struggles of being an American soccer fan and trying to grow soccer in America we've come a long,
long way.
Our friend Eric Beard of "A Football Report" and his brother Jordan shot this amazing video over to
two days last weekend in Boston, switching between an adidas Spain event and the American Outlaws
tailgate (set up by their Boston chapter) and supporters section.

By Puck First, before getting into my final thoughts on the Panama game, I need to give a huge
shout out to the American Outlaws Tampa Crew for putting together one hell of an event. Everything
from the pregame at MacDinton's Irish pub, the exceptional tailgate, and the transportation to and
from was spot on.

Those that were at LiveSTRONG Sporting Park didn't necessarily see the best game of soccer, but the
fans that were in attendance certainly brought the atmosphere. Enough so that it got the attention
of people around the US talking about the venue as a host for World Cup qualifiers in upcoming
cycles.
Editor's Note: We LOVE to hear about your Free Beer Movement in action. Whenever and
wherever you're buying beers to bring the beautiful game to soccer newbies we want to here it. Send
your stories to us at freebeermovement(at)gmail.com. We'll even send you one of our FBM
