By Graig Carbino - ALBANY, NY (Jan 29, 2009) USSoccerPlayers -- How can two situations which, on
the surface look very similar, be completely different? There certainly is some aspect of
philosophy at play when dissecting the relative circumstances surrounding the Landon Donovan-David
Beckham-LA Galaxy current state of affairs.
By Graig Carbino - ALBANY, NY (Jan 26, 2009) USSoccerPlayers -- Sacha, Sacha, Sacha. If you didn't
come away from Saturday night's National Team game against Sweden thoroughly impressed with the
play of one Sacha Kljestan please seek medical attention immediately. "Meaningless game

to Bayern Munich. The deal is done based on most accounts, yet the LA Galaxy and Major League
Soccer have yet to release any sort of news regarding the arrangement.
By Graig Carbino - ALBANY, NY (Jan 13, 2009) USSoccerPlayers -- After seeing the recent weather
related match cancellations in England we can finally end the talk of a "European"
schedule calendar in Major League Soccer, right? You think a field is frozen in London, try playing
a soccer game outdoors in the Northeast this coming weekend.
United States National Team midfielder Maurice Edu told BBC Sport that he hopes his return from an

US National Team player DaMarcus Beasley, Edu is aware of the added pressure, since Rangers are
shopping players during the transfer window.
