Mere hours after Mike Burns indicated that the New England Revolution would be finalizing the
transfer of two South American players today, the team announced this morning that they have signed
Colombians John Lozano and Fernando Cardenas. Both will count as international players and will be
added to the roster when their P-1 Visas and International Transfer Certificates have been
processed.

With a week to go before the start of its preseason, the Revolution announced that it had

The Philadelphia Union have a plan, and they're sticking to it.
The club purchased the full rights to 20-year-old Colombian midfielder Roger Torres from America
de Cali, which had been loaning him to the Union for the last two seasons.
After watching two of last year's biggest signings walk this winter, the Revolution have
reportedly addressed its paper-thin forward corps by signing Colombian striker Jose "Pepe" Moreno
via loan from Once Caldas (Colombia).
The 30-year-old forward, who scored eight goals in 20 games for Once Caldas in 2011, is expected
to help fill the crater-sized hole created by the departures of Milton Caraglio and Rajko
Lekic.
The New England Revolution have finally begun the process of solving their issues at forward
this week with the acquisition of Colombian target man Jose "Pepe" Moreno. The 30-year old striker
joins the Revs on loan after a short stop with Once Caldas, where he scored 7 goals and 4 assists
in twenty matches during the second half of 2011.
The news is not getting any better for the Philadelphia Union.
Already off to a struggling start, the Union learned that midfielder Roger Torres is expected to
miss the next 8-to-10 weeks after spraining the MCL in his left knee during a reserve league match
against the New England Revolution on Monday.

The Blues will be European champions with a victory, but a loss would not only keep Chelsea from
their first Champions League trophy, it would also mean no participation in Champions League next
year.
With the talk this morning about whether or not Didier Drogba should be offered a new deal after
Chelsea's Champions League heroics, Roman Abramovich could probably do a lot worse than open his
chequebook for Radamel Falcao if Drogba does leave. Falcao was unstoppable in the Europa League
final last week, and last night scored [.
