This week's little cutie is the gorgeously beautiful wee Scots lass Jo-Anne O'Neill from Fife in
Scotland.
Jo is pretty new to modeling but loves loves loves nothing better than getting dressed up and
posing in front of the camera.

This week's girl of the week is the gorgeous Tanya Demee from East Grinstead, well some one has
to live there. The lovely Tanya is one of the lads and loves nothing more than watching a game of
footy with her boys down the pub. Top girl!

This week's girl of the week is a UKFF favourite and good time girl Katie Evans.
We first shot Katie a few years ago and she seems to be getting more cheeky with age. She's a
real delight to photograph and always herself enjoys on set.
Just don't ask her what the passer by shouted out to her on the Christmas shoot!
Published reports out of Europe and the United States today indicate that Freddy Adu is headed
to Aris Salonika FC, the leading club in Greece's second largest city, Thessaloniki. (Although
currently PAOK is performing better than Aris in the Greek Super League)
Once again, Adu has managed to find himself transferred to a well supported club with a history
of making European continental competitions.
Beleaguered Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has admitted he may not make signings during the transfer
window.
The Reds have lost Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard and Yossi Benayoun to injury, and are seventh in
the Premier League and out of all major cups.
But Benitez said: "We will see if we can do something more in this window.

Ollie's Photoshop skills = almost as bad as Liverpool's form this season
"Inter are working to sign Steven Gerrard [this summer], given that Liverpool are in
economic difficulty," an Inter source has told Corriere dello Sport.
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has revealed that he will change things up for the clash against
Peterborough in the FA Cup this weekend, but warned his side that an upset isn't impossible.
"It's very important, it's a big game and we want to keep winning," Redknapp said.
"I'll make a few changes and one or two of the lads that haven't played recently will get a game
because they have worked hard.
UPDATE: According to Colin Tattum at the Birmingham Mail,
Birmingham are on the brink of signing Sporting Gijon midfielder
Michel despite recent reports that he was not for sale.
December 31st, 2009 According to Francisco Acedo at Sky Sports News,
Sporting Gijon are not going to sell midfielder Michel despite
strong interest from Birmingham.
This past week, Cristiano Ronaldo made a pretty bold statement: ""I have an ambition to become the
best player in history." Big words. Especially when Argentine mega mite Lionel Messi just took home
the Ballon D'Or as the best player of 2009. Inevitably, these two mega talents have not only
defined today's game [.
"Well I didn't expect that, I must admit..."
So what did you expect, Sir Alex? A performance full of determination and grit to convincingly
see off our lowly yet despised rivals in a passionate FA Cup tie?
Well I think, given the circumstances, that is was more than fair assumption.
According to Kent Hedlundh at Sky Sports News, Stoke City goalkeeper
Thomas Sorensen admitted that he might have a hard time refusing an offer if he
receives one. Sorensen told spn.dk,
"My ambition is to play at the highest possible level.
A statement on Leeds United's official website confirms that star striker Jermaine
Beckford wants away:
"Leeds United can confirm that Jermaine Beckford has handed in a transfer request.
"The transfer request was handed in on December 30.
"By handing in a transfer request it clearly indicates that the player wants to leave Leeds
United.
It's official, with Vieira facing the press this afternoon after signing a six month deal with an
option for a further twelve months:
Roberto Mancini was fulsome in his praise for Vieira (although he dismissed the notion of him
becoming captain):
"He is a big player, an important player.
There was a suggestion that the appointment of Roberto Mancini was delayed until after a tricky set
of fixtures, to allow the Italian a relatively easy run to kick off his tenure in charge of the
club. If this was the case then I'm sure a home game against Blackburn was one where the three
points is very much expected.
After declaring he will be fit for next Sunday's game against Bolton, Arsenal midfielder Denilson
spoke about the Everton game, the importance of the gained point and also on the ambition of this

City go fourth after this comprehensive win against a Blackburn side that was, especially in the
first half, shamefully devoid of ambition.
City can't win the Premier League, though that's still the general view, but with neither
Chelsea, Man Utd or Arsenal looking like world beaters, it wouldn't be the biggest surprise in the
world if they did kick on and surprise us all after all, it's not like they don't have the money to
strengthen what is already a pretty solid squad in the winter transfer window.

One of my main new year's resolutions was to stop thinking, talking about it and actually start
my blog. With everything setup, I could never really get myself down to write the first post.
There's a lot of pressure that comes with it I suppose, much of it self-imposed, like most things
in life.
Qatar may not be the most well-known country in the footie world, but Soccerphile have convered
several events in the tiny but extremely rich Gulf country.
That includes the recent play off between England and Brazil in Qatar's amazing Khalifa
stadium.
We'll be doing a lot more cover if the country get their ambition of holding the 2022 football
world cup!

People complained that our 'Spot the Genius' competition was too easy
Lionel Messi last week became the youngest player in Barcelona's history to
score 100 goals for the club. He then bagged his 101st goal, in the same game, namely Barca's 4-0
demolition of Sevilla.

In an interview with the Mirror published today, David Beckham kicked out slyly
at the new ambition of cash-rich Man City (much like he did to Diego Simeone at the 1998 World
Cup). He also pledged that he would never, EVER sign for Citeh, no matter how much cash they
offered him:
"I would never sign for Manchester City.
This was definitely a game of two halves. However, it wasn't so much the level of performance, or
amount of effort that changed, it was more the mentality and attitude of the Thai team that
improved significantly in the second half.
I'm sure Bryan Robson & Steve Darby will say the formation they selected in the first half was
fluid, allowing it to be 4-5-1 when Thailand were defending, and 4-3-3 when attacking.
Real Valladolid 0 - 3 Barcelona
(0-1) 20' Xavi, (0-2) 22' Dani Alves, (0-3) 54' Messi
Barcelona reached the halfway point of the season unbeaten with yet another sublime performance
which saw them reach 23 goals away from home. A breathtaking break saw Xavi put
them infront before a cross-come-shot from Alves put them further ahead two minutes later.
Middlesbrough rescued a point at the Riverside courtesy of a fluke goal from new signing Willo
Flood. Missing a plethora of first team players boro began brightly enough but Leroy Lita wasted a
number of early chances, though some credit must go to Swans keeper De Vries for keeping the first
one out.
Another homesick Brazilian who will "even" (the Guardian's word) waive part of his £160 000 a week
salary in order for Man City to let him go.
You see according to Robinho, in other parts of the world players just sort of ask the manager to
play every match, regardless of form, to suit their individual ambition to play for another team in
an international tournament: "The managers are different here.

Even without talisman Michael Essien, Ghana were plenty good enough to squeak past Nigeria
without having to play their best. A header by Asamoah Gyan in the 21st minute did
the damage. In truth though, this was a dreadful semi final, desperately short of quality and
ambition, and long on the sort of basic errors that typified African football for so long.
