It all got a little tense at the end, but Mamelodi Sundowns tussled their way to a nervy 24 (24!)-0 victory over Powerlines in the last 32 of the South African Nedbank Cup, setting a national record in the process.

10-0 up at half-time, by the final whistle Sundowns' Hlompho Kekana had notched seven, Nyasha Mushekwi six and Richard Henyekane had bagged himself five goals as Mamelodi ran roughshod over their opponents, comfortably eclipsing the previous record win in South Africa - AmaZulu's 16-0 Mainstay Cup trouncing of Ford Pirates in 1986.
