When we last left the relegation race, it looked as though there wasn't much hope for any of the
three teams rooted to the bottom. While that still may be the case for the bottom two, Lecce have
gone undefeated in their past four matches which has left them only four points from safety. The
biggest development so far, however, is that Parma have suddenly joined the race after a 2-1
defeat.
The latest installment of disgruntled-fans-sell-overpriced-former-star-on-ebay has launched,
right smack in the middle of the January window, leaving some hope.
The gentleman in question is Amauri, man of more nationalities than goals for his current club,
Juventus. Fans saw fit to throw him onto ebay, where the bids got up to now sit down €10m.

The figures do not lie and a closer look reveals the Bianconeri have scored 10 goals in 3
matches meaning the club managed only 19 goals in the other 15 games.
Atalanta Guglielmo Stendardo joined Atalanta on loan from Lazio until the end of the season. The
30-year-old defender has spent most of past two seasons on the bench at the Rome club, and will be
delighted to get the chance to feature for the first team in Bergamo. (+ve) Another experienced
arrival is midfielder Alessandro Carrozza from Serie B outfit Varese.
Sorpasso Juve.
