With a new year upon us, the January transfer window will be opening up soon. While normally we
don't see super-stars switch allegiances in this period, but 2011 could be different. The names of
Klose, Toni, Gilardino, and Kaka have been circulating, but can we really expect these players to
move in January?
Liverpool is ready to enter into talks with Juventus about the future of Alberto Aquilani with
striker Amauri also on Damian Comolli's agenda, according to Sky Italia.
Aquilani is currently on loan at the Old Lady and has admitted he is enjoying his time back home
and would relish a permanent move to Turin.
After the sad news that Fabio Quagliarella will be out for the rest of the season, Juventus got
a replacement in record time. It's Luca Toni who will be replacing Quagliarella (out for 4-6 months
with a torn cruciate knee ligament), the World Cup winner leaving Genoa to sign a one and a half
year contract with the bianconeri.

This upcoming weekend gives Juventus a great chance to bounce back from their bad run of
defeats. Having only taken one point in nine the past three matches in the Serie A, Juventus need
to pick themselves up if they want a chance at getting in a Champions League place by the end of
the season.
Earlier this season, even one month ago before the winter break, it seemed as if Juventus had
finally returned as a force in the Serie A. As the most successful club in Italy with more Scudetti
than any other club, it was a welcome return indeed. During the summer Juventus made a number of
signings that have aided in their bid to again be champions of Italy.
Ah the rumor mill. Such a crazy addictive hobby. And it's always a load of rubbish.
The thing that will stir it up more than anything is a massive purchase. Due to the
particularities of January and the desperation of clubs, there tend to be more ridiculous purchases
than during the summer.
Gazzetta dello Sport Ibra-Cassano, merry Milan Balo is treated in America in Tiger's clinic Mancini
sends him to see the knee magician Del Piero negotiates for his renewal Yesterday the first meeting
with Agnelli. The difference is still 1.5 million. Here's Ganso, an ace for Leo Adriano, shoulder
KO, he'll be out for a month Mou's Real triumph, Ronaldo is derby-man .
A return to Genoa for manager Gigi Del Neri after leaving Sampdoria for Juventus in the summer.
Both teams wasted chances toward the end of the match but and had to accept the 0-0 draw result.
Even the 1 point came with a cost as both sides suffered additional injuries. Things didn't start
well for Juventus as Armand Traore hobbled off after 2 minutes with a muscular problem, he would be
replaced.
In episode 4.1 Adam and Walker travel south to Sicily and welcome Lorenzo Vicini (think I got that
right this time) to the podcast. The boyz discuss all things Palermo as well as the full fixture
list from Match day 21 of Italian Serie A. Lorenzo writes for the Palermo-offside and is dedicated
supporter of the Azzurri as well.
