Undici anni in bianconero.
So one of the major stories after the international break was that Adriano never returned to
Italy. Inter were expecting him to be in Milan the Tuesday after the international break, and he
never showed up. Early reports were he had simply missed his flight after a party, but as the days
passed and he still failed to show up reports were something was wrong.
Juventus forward, Amauri, has been asked to replace the injured Luís Fabiano for Brazil's
friendly vs Italy ...
This isn't a subjective rating, it's merely the ten most expensive transfer fees by price of the
summer 2008 throughout the world (read: Europe). Because I don't feel like doing the pound to Euros
conversion right now (and neither do Brits - bada boom), I'm going to leave it in the poundage the
Daily Mail [.
Continuing to surf on La Gazzetta's "Serie A vs. EPL" wave, here are ALL THE PLAYERS from
UEFA Champions League's Chelsea vs. Juventus. PETR CECH Often tagged as the "second-best

We're a little sleepy today, but news of Diego signing a
five-year contract with
Juventus has jolted us back to reality. Yes, it looks like you'll be reading more of
La Vecchia Signora next season, with
Diego and Amauri in the same squad.
We all know by now that Rino Gattuso is not one who keeps his thoughts to himself. He'll tell
you like it is, and he's not afraid of anyone. (I mean come on, this is the man who choked Marcello
Lippi at the World Cup.) Gattuso always gives 110% for club and country, and now that he's on the
sidelines injured he's become an analyst of sorts, always being interviewed about various topics in
the calcio world.
VS. The 5-time World Champion (and official national team of the Metellus Family) Brazil announced
their roster for the highly anticipated Feb. 10th friendly vs. 4-time and current World Champion,
Italy. Its a roster that was surprising due to its omissions and additions. The most glaring
omission is the red-hot Juventus striker, Amauri who [.
That photo is supposed to help you understand why Gattuso is the sexiest man in Italy, although it
is irrelevant to his ongoing feud with Amauri. Anyway, you may recall Gattuso's statements a few
days ago about Amauri's "bad decision-making." The Italian defender is annoyed that
Amauri didn't seem to show gratitude to the Azzurri and [.
Amauri lasted just 18 minutes into Juventus' 1-1 draw with Serie B side Vicenza on Tuesday after
he reacted to getting fouled by elbowing his opponent. Said new manager Ciro Ferrara:
"We already cleared the air with Amauri in the locker room, but clearly an incident like this
must never happen again.
Juventus chief Cobolli Gigli (above, right) has announced that Juventus will not release Amauri to
play for the Brazilian team, citing that CBF's application 'came too late'. "It is the club's
decision. We have not received the request, but (it) is already too late. (We've) already decided
not to accept and tell the player.
No.... you can't pull Diego away from Werder Bremen!
Anyway, the potential Survivor Tocantins contestant has confirmed that
he has 'agreed personal terms' with Juventus which paves the way for a move to the Serie A next
season. Why Juventus, though?
Here are the freshly unveiled Juventus home and away Nike kits for 2009/10 Serie A season. Amauri,
Trezeguet, Del Piero and the rest of the team will wear these strips as they try to reclaim the
Serie A title next season. Once again, it looks like retro is the way to go for Nike. The n [...]
By now he has made his decision. Amauri wants to play for the Italian national team. Dunga
doesn't want to call him up for Brazil, and Amauri knows that Lippi is interested in calling him up
to the Azzurri. Amauri thought he would be getting his passport sometime this month and that Lippi
would call him up for October's World Cup qualifiers, but that is not the case, as a new Italian
law (passed on August 8th) will now prevent Amauri from getting his Italian passport until March
2010.

Don't worry - it's a commercial, dear When Juventus' Amauri is substituted in this commercial he
accidentally hangs his shirt on the switch that turns the floodlights on and off (a must have
accessory in the changing room). His team-mates - seemingly rejuvenated by Amauri's withdrawal -
look set to score when the lights go out.
Summer is always the time of fan's high expectations, newspapers go like mad thanks to the
bombastic headlines announcing the transfers that often end up as failures. We have already made
our list of wasted money this season in Serie A. Still, there have been also several good moves and
some of the players rose [.
Fresh from the great minds of Gazzetta dello Sport, here is a look at ALL THE PLAYERS from UEFA
Champion's League Chelsea vs. Juventus. Enjoy! . . . . . . . . . . . PETR CECH Often tagged as the
"second-best keeper in the world" (now down to third with Casillas, get over it Chelsea

Gattuso has too much time on his hands these days, evidently. He's been making ridiculous bets to
eat snails in a bid to pass the time (among other things) and talking to the newspapers. So of
course, our ferosha gangsta uomo had something to say about Amauri and the Azzuri- and from the
looks [.
Amauri the snake anyone? Oh, how we miss teasing him for snubbing
Brazil when Dunga called him up at the last minute!
Anyway, Senhor Hair Flip told Italian newspapers that his heart literally broke into pieces when
he saw how Italy were trumped by Brazil on Sunday.
prematura eliminazione dell'undici italiano.
Felipe Melo passed his medical examination and will begin training on July 22. He agreed to a
five year contract and his transfer cost Juventus € 25 million. From the Juventus website:
"I am very happy to have joined Juventus and can't wait to start working. I believe very
much in this team that was reinforced and that can compete with anybody in an attempt to reach all
the goals in Italy and in Europe.
It seems that the wandering time, transition period after relegation to the second league and
breaking legs on Italian countryside is finally over. Over the last two years, after returning to
Serie A, the biggest Italian club were searching for their identity. Delusions like Claudio Ranieri
or bad moves on the market cost them dearly, but they have learnt the lesson.

Though he didn't even play, Flamengo fans still came through on their warning of revenge when
Corinthians came to town by proclaiming Fat Ronaldo to be the "King of The Transvestites.

Dear God... don't you chicas think that Amauri over here should have been cast
in a Sunsilk ad alongside those Bollywood beauties? Even Del
Piero wants to hug his hair. It looks like the Wind in the Willows!
Anyway, if you've been reading us for a while, you'd know all about the Amauri-Brazil-Italy soap
opera.

Bayern Munich vs Juventus:
Definitely the most anticipated match of this week's Champions League play, this is a meeting
that we have seen many times over the years. They do not usually live up to expectations as you can
see from their previous score lines:
19.10.04 Juventus 1 Bayern 0
3.
If you thought that Napoli's injury time brace, which handed the club a 2-2 draw at home to AC
Milan, was its comeback of the week, think again. The underperforming Naples outfit has suddenly
brought an end to an indifferent spell by stunning Serie A contenders Juventus 3-2 this evening,
and that too away from home.
The victory against Inter was not backed by a vintage performance but served as a reprieve for
Ciro Ferrara who is under intense pressure from the tifosi to bring glory back to the Old Lady
following a summer spending campaign which included the signing of Brazilians Diego and Felipe Melo
for considerable sums.
The Seleção to face Italy next month at the Emirates stadium has been announced! As
expected, Juventus striker Amauri wasn't called up. At a press conference, Dunga explained :
"Amauri is a great player, but everyone has to wait for the right moment. He did not perform
well in his last two matches and we think [.
Dunga has called up Amauri to replace Luis Fabiano in next month's friendly. The announcement was
made this morning in Porto Alegre, where FIFA delegates are currently inspecting potential sites to
host the 2014 World Cup. We knew it! We had a dream about it last night! It's a pretty good
solution and an even better [.
Juventus' goal poacher, Amauri finally received the call to play for A Seleção. Dunga
called Amauri to the team for the friendly against Italy on February 10th after original call up
Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano ruptured two ligaments in his left knee in the 2nd leg Copa del Rey
quarterfinal match vs.

You're probably extremely sick of the whole Amauri-Juventus-Italy saga and we're about to
spectacularly close the issue (for a while at least) with this 'fine' statement from the player
himself. "Regarding the statements that were attributed to me by the Brazilian and Italian
press, I am merely saying that it will be impossible to defend Italian [.
The mother of all games, or as Lippi and Falcao tagged it, the 'Derby of the World'. As yet another
week of international friendlies begins, fans everywhere will be eagerly anticipating some of the
highest quality international football action in the year. I mean just think about it: Argentina
vs. France and Spain vs.
No Playstation today for the selecao, who had to attend training instead. Trust us, their schedules
are often ridiculously packed that it's hard to get a breather outside their hotel. As usual, Dunga
had to field some controversial questions from the press. That means all our concerns were answered
- from Amauri, to Kaka's injury and [.
