Amanda here Web Coordinator at the WPS league office. As you probably know by now, WPS has discontinued operations of the Los Angeles Sol, so I'm posting this to let you know the online plans for the Dispersal Draft and the future of the LA website and social media outlets.

As yu may know, I'm the Web Coordinator at Women's Professional Soccer So I wanted to give quick update here from my department at the league office. First off, the 2010 WPS Draft will be held on Friday, January 15th at 10am in Philadelphia, PA, in conjunction with the NSCAA Convention. Here's more information: http://www.

League to Provide Behind the Scenes 2010 WPS Draft Coverage on www.twitter.

As you may know, the NSCAA is making a substantial effort to recognize and celebrate its diversity, and to be a truly inclusive organization. Marcia McDermott, the incoming President of the NSCAA (you can follow her on Twitter @RedStarsGM btw), has set diversity & inclusion as her primary agenda for 2010, and the support she's received from the CEO (Joe Cummings @nscaaCEO on Twitter) all the way down to the membership has been simply tremendous.

Thanks to @ethanhays I just watched Ze Frank's Nerdcore Comedy, and truthfully (minus the cheezy-looking graphics), I can't believe this was filmed in 2004. I'm posting it to my site, because, well, let's face it he's absolutely hilarious. But beyond his witty sarcasm and creative & forward-thinking technerd brain, I do think there is so much we can learn from ZeFrank's 2004 web/sharing mentality, even today.
