...if you do then I need you all to do something important. Amanda from the fantastic
Miss-SW6.com and three others need your votes. Here's what they are doing:
Four Chelsea supporters, three from the UK and one from the US, will embark on a
journey to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to Keep the Blue Flag Flying High.
Kirsten, Amanda and Megan discuss Seattle's supreme dominance of the US Open Cup after the
Sounders' third straight title in the competition. They talk about the merits of the Open Cup,
compared to the league itself, compared to the playoffs. The MLS playoff chase is heating up, as
several teams from the East vie for their places.

This week's show is the second qualifier for the WUR 2011 Champions League Final.
Amanda and Kirsten review a dramatic week in MLS (seriously, we still can't believe that
Philly/New England game) and take a look at the emerging playoff picture. Then they preview the
next round of CONCACAF Champions League group play, try to figure out how to pronounce some of the
other teams' names (Alajuelense?
In this week's show, Rachna, Amanda, and Kirsten review the USMNT's just-ended Costa Rica and
Belgium friendlies. They discuss the (hopeful) end of the YSA chant, the eternal defense problem,
and Hope Solo on Dancing With the Stars. Finally, they take a moment to remember FC Dallas star and
CSRN friend Bobby Rhine.
In this episode, Megan, Shana, and Amanda are joined by Joan from Cross-Conference as they
preview the upcoming WPS final between the Philadelphia Independence and the Western New York
Flash. They then switch gears to talk about Robbie Keane's first goal, and various MLS action
throughout the week.
Kirsten, Amanda, and Megan reflect on a rather positive beginning to Juergen Klinsmann's USMNT
career, despite their skepticism that he would live up to expectations. They also discuss the
now-unemployed-but-probably-not-for-long Bob Bradley and his recent jaunt into Egypt, and speculate
about the former boss's future.

The Women's Premier Soccer League announced Friday that Chicago Red Stars forward Michele

Amanda and Kirsten return, kicking things off this week with an analysis of Jurgen Klinsmann's
first roster for the USMNT, the Timmy Chandler situation (which is their new band name), and some
surprising additions and omissions. After that, they review a dramatic week in MLS, with
DC/Toronto, KC/Seattle, and Vancouver/Chicago all offering various levels of wackitude.
It's a USMNT spectacular this week as Amanda and Kirsten review the firing of Bob Bradley and
the appointment of Jurgen Klinsmann. They discuss the winners and losers with the coaching change
and pour one out for Jonathan Bornstein's national team career, after getting excited for the
possibilities for Stuart Holden and Baby Robot.

Amanda and Megan bring you this episode. In a follow-up to the girls' discussion last week about
WPS and Dan Borislow, they revel in the drama that his latest antics have caused. They discuss the
nature of the US-Mexico rivalry in the women's game, as the USWNT has an upcoming match against "El
Tri" in June.
Rachna, Amanda, and Kirsten star in this edition of the Girls in the Cheap Seats as the trio
discuss the US Women's World Cup roster as well the latest in WPS drama. The girls mourn Lindsey
Tarpley's injury, which will rule her out for the tournament, and celebrate the USWNT's victory
against Japan.
This week, Amanda and Shana are joined by Dan of The Free Beer Movement in the first segment,
to discuss soccer culture, the games that made us fans, and spreading the soccer love through
intoxicating beverages (in moderation, of course). They review "Soccer Night in America," RSL v.
Chivas and yet another broken ankle, and LA v.
Radford took control of this one early, as the Bobcats rolled to a 6-0 Three Rivers District girls
soccer win over visiting Floyd County Monday evening.
Lexi Denny and Kylee Chatham led the Bobcats (8-3, 3-0 TRD) with two goals each. Sadie Rose and
Sara Davis added a goal each for Radford, who scored all of its goals in the first half.

Editor's Note: Today begins yet another
random, new series on the Free Beer Movement. Soccer fans come in all shapes, colors, and sizes and
how they became fans of the sport are as diverse as they are. While most of us are engrossed in the
on-field action, the tactics, the drama.
Blue is the colour, and blogging is the game. On 10th March 2011 five devoted Chelsea fans launched
a new website to share their love for CFC. The idea of a football fan site is not new, but Miss SW6
is a bit different from the rest; it's run entirely by women.
Co-founders Danielle, Annely, Amanda, Jaymee and Liz spent much of the last year discussing
football online and bonding over their mutual support for Chelsea.
The season is still 10 days away, but branding exercises set in place by our team of marketing
staffers have long been in place. Whether in the form of an ad welcoming Charlie Davies to DC, a
billboard in Adams Morgan, a promotional video truck circling the city, creative packaging for
season ticket delivery, or grassroots activation in action, the talented cast of Kyle Sheldon,
Boris Flores, Amanda Farina, Ben Mahler, Jamie Siegel and Andrew Minucci are at the root of the
project.
Amanda and Megan discuss Grant Wahl's curious decision to challenge Sepp Blatter's position as
FIFA president. They consider his chances and address some of their issues with his platform.
Charlie Davies' recovery trail has led him to DC United. Pat Onstad is coming out of retirement,
but both girls agree that he is no Brett Favre.

Even in the pre-season, beating FC Dallas is fun. The only thing better is completely
annihilating them and on Saturday afternoon at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi, the Dynamo did
just that.
Brad Davis was involved in three of the four Dynamo goals, scoring one off a free kick,
assisting on Geoff Cameron's header and sending the cross in to the box that led to the FC Dallas
own goal.

Amanda and Megan feature in this episode, as they discuss the latest developments with the US
Women's National Team and Major League Soccer. They get into an extended conversation about the
"silly season" and its impact on American players. We don't know much about the Turkish league, but
we're pretty sure that Freddy Adu is taking a step down, and not for the first time.
In a busy week for the US national teams, Rachna, Shana, and Amanda review Camp Cupcake v. Chile
and the first two games of the Four Nations Cup. They are all pleased to see younger players on
both rosters, in particular Teal Bunbury, Mix Diskerud, and Alex Morgan. Shana is unnerved by Brek
Shea, Rachna gives us the view from the stands of the Home Depot Center, and Amanda has some harsh
words for clueless soccer commentators (and for once, they're not John Harkes).
