Serie A giants say "Fangs, but no fangs" to Porto defender Porto left-back Aly Cissokho has seen
his transfer to AC Milan collapse over concerns about his teeth. The Italians are thought to have
pulled out of the deal because Porto refused to budge on the fee despite a medical showing dental
problems which Milan think [.
Three Possible New-Comers to Gerland This Season.
I'm planning to do one of these at the end of every week to sum-up the concrete, as well as all
the crap rumors out there concerning Lyon. So here we go:
Possible Ins:
Lisandro Lopez: Negotiations for the Argentine International are still
on-going, much to most of our relief, after the Aly Cissokho debacle.
(Put those things away.) Aly Cissokho, the man with the not-quite-small task of ushering in a new
era of a younger Milan, will not be ushering in anything anywhere - though he may be ushered into a
dentist's chair shortly. He failed his medical due to a dental problem. A dental problem which
causes muscle deterioration.
Incoming:
Aly Cissokho: Should arrive in Lyon either today or tomorrow to take his
physical and pen his deal which is said to be worth 15mill with a clause that sees
FC Port recieving 20% of his future sale! JMA has found a new nemisis in Porto president Jorge Nuno
Pinto da Costa.
Which one/s will be in an OL kit next year?
Well, the summer transfer season is underway, and if rumors are to be believed, Lyon is pretty
busy. I don't give much weight to most of the zillion rumors floating around- one of you guys made
a comment about not believing an OL transfer rumor untill the player was wearing a Lyon kit, and
shaking hands with JMA at a press conference; I'm starting to feel that way.
Day after tomorrow, the players kick off their fourth Peace Cup campaign (for some odd reason,
the event organizers really like Lyon). For those of you unfamiliar with the tournament, it takes
place every two years and is one of the six pre-season friendly tournaments going on this summer.
The last three Peace Cups took place in South Korea - Lyon were runners-up in 2003 and 2005, and
they were winners in 2007.
It was bound to happy eventually. I don't know about you guys, but after the embarrassment of
last season's finish, I was dreading the oncoming ~dramah~, :tearz:, and angsty soap operas from
the players and the staff. I was expecting a meltdown of epic proportions. I thought that the sky
would fall.
Keirrison is all but Barcelona's - much to the delight of everyone at former club Palmeiras. But
he's being flogged about as loan fodder in order to catch a bigger fish - either David Villa or
Bruno Alves. Must feel nice to be loved. Eventually. On the other side of the Clasico, Almeria
striker Alvaro Negredo [.
OL Gets Serious About The Attack!
In:
Lisandro Lopez: Lyon finally got their man. JMA's first signing of the summer
cost OL 24 mill plus performance bonuses. Lisandro is supposed to be in Lyon
Friday for his physical.
Aly's Break-out Performances this Year in the CL this Past Season Put Him On the Radar of Some
the Biggest Clubs in Europe.
When Aly Cissokho left France back in June '08 , probably only a handful of people- including
himself- were even aware, and even fewer in Portugal to be sure.
With the loss of Kaka to the second Galactico era of Real Madrid, AC Milan have a lot of
rebuilding...

Lyon Can Finally Fly Straight Again: OL's New Winger Swoops into Town, Hopefully to Take Us to
New Heights.
No, it's not a Ferrari nor Beluga caviar, it's a Brazilian winger. Like and injured bird, OL's left
wing- along with a slew of other issues- hindered it's abilitiy to fly as strong as it was capable
of, but now it's finally healed, stronger than ever, and ready for lift-off.
