Can Arsenal have a straight transfer story for once? Football's groundhog day is surely the
inevitable summer ritual of Cesc Fabregas's "will he won't he this time around." Now, we have the

On Saturday night, despite the loud presence of a Sons of Ben contingent, the Union finished the
domestic leg of their preseason on a down note with a 1–0 loss to Orlando City SC. For
Orlando—of the USL Pro League, the third division in the American soccer pyramid—it was both
their first match and first win since the club was announced in October of 2010.
Spanish TV presenter, Lara Alvarez, has handed in her WAG Club Membership, Kickettes. Three

Gervinho. The player appears to have indicated that Arsenal are his preference,
it now remains to be seen if we offer him a derisory £30K a week or a decent contract.
It's not time to panic, the transfer window does not officially open until 1st July, the season
only finished 4 weeks ago, however, signs of a busy summer as stated by both Arsene Wenger and Ivan
Gazidis, we not seen.
Matters started well with Arsenal rumoured to have agreed a deal for Argentine winger Ricardo
Alvarez.

Samir Nasri is now being hotly pursued by Man City with a reported bid of £19m but their
crosstown big brothers Utd are also in the chase. Meanwhile Chelsea has also added their name to
Nasri's suitors.
Ricardo Alvarez has joined Inter for £10m but Arsenal should not really feel too bad for a
midfielder not even in consideration for Sergio Bautista's squad.

The word on tabloid street in Spain is that she is dating Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.

This is going to be a pretty short one, but I'll plan to get a longer blog up sometime tomorrow

The Comets first game winning goal at home...The Missouri Comets were happy to notch their first

The Comets' improved defense came at a price as they failed to muster any sort of offense in a
pivotal match Sunday afternoon at the Independence Events Center against the visiting Vipers,
falling to the visitors from Omaha 6-4. The six points by the Vipers were the least amount of
points allowed by the Comets all season long, but the Vipers stifled the Comets offense all day
long, holding the team to just four points, the team's lowest scoring output of the season.
The Comets just needed to win Game Two of the Playoff Series against the Wave in Milwaukee or, if
the Wave won, the ensuing 15 minute mini-game afterwards to advance to the MISL Championship Game
against Baltimore. The Comets lost both games Sunday at U.S. Cellular Center, ending an unexpected
and thrilling run to finish their season.
Four players from Sporting Kansas City and the Missouri Comets were given awards today by their

Should Madrid fail to win at Sevilla on Saturday night, then a Barca win at home to Espanyol a day
