The following players have been known to have played abroad during the past 12 months, but have
since disappeared. There are also players I am looking for some further information on, in an
effort to track their careers and ensure whether or not they should be on Les Rosbifs. I would be
extremely grateful for [.
Football supporters perusing the website of the commercial and retail property company GVA
Grimley might have recently spotted something that would take their fancy. "The property comprises
a purpose built non-league football stadium. The stadium, its immediate surroundings and surfaced
car parking stand on 1.
One man who is glad of Setanta's TV coverage! Apparently, this strike from Michael Welch is a
couple of weeks old now but I am sure he will excuse our tardiness as we bring his 70-yard strike
against Crawley Town to move viewers! Spotted on 101GG Share on Facebook
Not much of a preview, just a short blog today as I don't have much time. Boro travel to Manchester
this afternoon to face Altrincham as they look to extend their unbeaten run further. Last season
saw PT's Boro win convincingly there, while the season before Mark Stimson's side lost on the
opening day.
It wasn't the performance that fans have been used to in recent weeks, but Stevenage got the
win they needed to continue their unbeaten run and stay in 4th position in the Blue Square Premier.
A 93rd minute goal from Mark Roberts meant the Hertfordshire side took all 3 points back with them
down the M6.
Wrexham striker Jefferson Louis scores a lovely goal in his side's victory over Altrincham. He is
substituted before the end and obliges the pitchside reporter with a frank analysis of why he came
off. A little too frank for Setanta Sports' liking! This is the television gods punishing those who
think it is acceptable to break away from the match to interview someone during the game.
Next up for Stevenage is the longest trip of the season and hopefully, like last season, the
venue where Boro win their first 3 points of the season. The start of the season has been a bit of
an anti-climax compared with the way we ended the last campaign. At the moment, two poor
performances have yielded just two points against newly promoted opposition and a lot more was
expected when the fixtures were announced.
Lee Boylan's strike on the hour may just be one of the most important goals scored at Broadhall Way
this season. The one goal was enough to see off a Woking side, who lacked any sort of attacking
threat, but gave a honest performance which may help them in their fight against relegation in the

Sorry for the lack of updates over the Easter period, but I've been very busy. I hope you all
had a great easter. In football terms, it couldn't of got much better on the pitch. After bouncing
back last Tuesday with a win over rivals Cambridge, Graham Westley's side have gone back to where
they were before the defeat at Kidderminster.
With Luton, Cambridge and Oxford all dropping points, Stevenage missed a big oppoortunity to
close the gap on the leaders of the Blue Square Premier after being held at home by lowly Grays.
The Essex side came into the game after a run of 3 straight defeats, but frustrated Westley's side
all evening.
I haven't got an internet connection until the weekend, but thought I better put something up
tonight after a superb result and performance away at Luton Town. I arrived about 45 mins before
kick off after finding somewhere to park in the ghetto! The atmosphere was electric in the ground.
The Boro fans can be very proud of themselves tonight.
In football, as in so many other areas of drama and entertainment the lion's share of popular
discourse centres on the moments of high excitement and controversy when, as anybody that regularly
goes to matches will be able to tell you without skipping a beat, these are the moments that we
define our experience by precisely because of that rarity value.
