Galatasaray qualified for the Champions League quarterfinals after sealing a 3-2 victory over Schalke 04 at the Veltins-Arena in Germany.

Schalke's spirited second-half performance was not enough as Galatasaray scored in the final moments of the match to ensure that the Turkish champions would feature in the next round of the Champions League.

This has to be the one of the top matches on Friday, in the Euro2012 Qualifications!

The former Chelsea player doesn't seem keen in joining Spurs either by stating that there has never been any agreement with the London club nor there will ever be in the future, indicating the player's low interest.

Sunday kicks off the first leg of the 2011 Spanish Super Cup featuring two of the greatest teams in the world, Real Madrid against Barcelona. Remarkably, this is the first time that Real Madrid and Barcelona have faced each other in the Spanish Super Cup since 1997 when Los Blancos won both La Liga and the Supercopa Espana.
