Real Madrid is after young MLSer Jozy Altidore. Yup, the rumor is actual fact and apparently they
are scouting him pretty hard right now. "Real Madrid is searching the international market for
players who are young, talented and inexpensive, all qualities found in forward Jozy Altidore, the
grand sensation of MLS. " Woah. With no Bruce Arena [...]
First off, look at that armband on Dema . . . looks great!
Ok folks, here are your updates on our injured Bulls, as we look ahead to Saturday and our
encounter with the Fire, @ Chicago . . . .
With Adu bidding adieu to Real Salt Lake and the MLS for Benfica and Sal Zizzo shunning Major
League Soccer all together and signing with Hannover 96 before he can get trapped in the MLS slave
trade, who will be the next US player to change continents?
Danny Szetela? The Columbus Crew midfielder may be gaining a world of knowledge by playing along
side Guillermo Barros Schelotto, but other than that, he's wasting his time and talents.
Finally! I've been waiting for Altidore's IIN bit to show up. This one has the added bonus of a
little intro with the ESPN highlight of him.
Jozy didn't disappoint in the game versus the Galaxy, either, scoring two goals. I still don't
understand why he wasn't called in for the U.S. for the Sweden game. Perhaps Arena talked Bradley
out of it.
. . . . WHO WOULDA GUESSED?!?! . . . .
First off, People Magazine (in espanol) has A RED BULL as one of the 10 SEXIEST MEN in AMERICAN
in its newest magazine. CHECK IT OUT.
Simultaneously, they are breaking down the possible end of year award winners on MLSNET (MVP,
rookie of the year, etc.).
And of course, the only RBNY representative in BOTH catagories and currently trailing Luciano
Emilio for league MVP?
This will be short and sweet.
Yesterdays loss left a bitter taste in my mouth (which then turned to vomit when I watched the
rest of the Yankees game).
We have a World Class Coach, World Class players, Youngsters who play hard and well, and are a
piece or two away from having a truly dominant club. At least, thats what we thought.
First of all, I am injured. Worst injury for a blogger too - broken tip of my middle finger (I
will put up pics later). So expect QUICK and SMALL updates such as the following (at least till i
am better or figure out this splint):
Did you know we had injuries? Yea surprise surprise!
Did you know that DC was already gearing up for their DP next year?
Since this was already 3 days ago, here are just some late thoughts from your fractured fingered
blogging wonder kind :
So, I am separating this into two parts.

the U-20 WC, to the current Red Bulls situation and more
So without further ado .

I just got off the phone with Jozy Altidore. We had a quick interview set up through EA Sports,
since Jozy is their new FIFA cover boy.
I asked Jozy if he was any good at the game.
"Undisputed champ," he responded.
Honestly, he sounded like he had wiped out the local competiton. He also said that he had been the
best FIFA player back in his Bradenton days as well.
