Redknapp and Sheffield Wednesday owner Milan Mandaric were acquitted of tax evasion charges
after being found not guilty of avoiding to pay taxes on payments made into an offshore account in
Monaco between 2002 and 2007, when both men were at Portsmouth.
What? ... No i'm not bloody offside! Meow...Liverpool fought hard
on Monday night in an attempt to take three points from Tottenham Hotspur but with no goals from
either side the highlight of the game ended up going to a little mischievous cat. The Reds played
well but just couldn't find a goal as Spurs showed some staunch defending.
On Saturday evening, Houston Dynamo goalkeeper Tyler Deric and midfielder Warren Creavalle were
arrested outside of the Roosevelt Bar on Washington Avenue in the Heights. The various reports
indicate that Deric and Creavalle as well as Will Bruin and Alex Dixon were denied entry and they
believed that the grounds for said denial were based on the bar's apparent racist policies.
It is a potentially critical weekend at the bottom of the Premier League table.
The games almost have a play-off theme to them – with the bottom six facing off against one
another. Blackburn Rovers host QPR, Bolton Wanderers entertain Wigan Athletic and West Brom travel
to Wolves in the Black Country derby.
