A good news story for Anfield fans on this sad day!
Real Madrid striker Alvaro Negredo says he's prepared to move abroad for regular
football.
A target for Tottenham and Liverpool, Negredo said: "Of course I would like to stay, but I have
to do what's best for me and if it can not be here, I must find minutes elsewhere.
CRISTIANO RONALDO is receiving flack today by all the local Spanishmedia for losing his head in the
last moments of yesterdays 4-2victory against Almeria. Why? Apart from receiving a "stupid"
&unnecessary second yellow card with a sending him off, he autoexcluded himself from the important
next "Liga" match againstValencia CF.
Fiorentina have asked for Emmanuel Eboue plus cash for Arsenal to bring Confederations Cup
winner Felipe Melo to the Emirates.
Felipe Melo recently signed a one-year contract extension at Fiorentina - the main purpose of
which now seems to be the addition of a £21m release clause to help La Viola as much money as
possible for the Brazilian midfielder.
They#8217;re brilliant. Everybody knows it. You know, I know it, they know it. As far as slick,
ball on the floor footballing goes, they have no equal - even with their recent, now long
forgotten, hiccup. On their day, Barcelona are simply above and beyond. After soundly thumping Lyon
to announce they#8217;d awoken, they displayed [.
Is this a joke?
Hull City have been linked with a move for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Negredo.
The Barclays Premier League club have failed to land a number of strikers and are now ready to
fight the likes of Roma in a bid to sign the 23-year-old Spaniard, according to Spanish newspaper
Marca.
It may have been coming for a while but you have to pay tribute to Pep Guardiola's Barcelona for
their achievements so far in a season that could still get even better.
Champions and Copa Del Rey winners, his side have dominated the Primera Division this year and
are worthy winners. They can, of course, claim a treble with a win over Manchester United in the
Champions League final in Rome next Wednesday.
According to Laurent Picard at Setanta Sports, Everton midfielder
Segundo Castillo received an offer from Almeria. Castillo told El
Mundo,
"Almeria have been interested ever since last year ... They wanted me for the last six
months of the season, and today they are offering me a longer deal .
Rumor has it Florentino Perez's first act after hiring Manuel Pellegrini will be to install a
revolving door in the Bernabeu dressing room. Out will go half the back line, Gonzalo Higuain -
productivity matters not if your name isn't in lights - and the Dutch national football team. And
the first order of business [.

#16: Osasuna
Osasuna is the worst remaining La Liga club when it comes to goals scored last season. In fact
since 2005 the club has never scored more then 51 goals in a top tier season. But to the club's
credit they do play excellent defense and that alone should help the club fight off relegation.

What an exhilarating victory over Getafe yesterday at the Mestalla, a 4-1 win that reminded all
of us why we're fans of this team in the first place.
We might not have as many trophies as the big guys, as much money as the other clubs and be as
stable as we'd like to be. But no one can deny our passion for Our Beloved!

Rafael Benitez believes he will have no trouble attracting new players to Liverpool despite Robbie
Keane's futile attempts to win a regular first-team place.
Keane, who signed for £20 million from Tottenham Hotspur last summer and was sold back at a loss
just six months later, failed to dislodge either Steven Gerrard or Fernando Torres from Benitez's
first-choice attack.
The all new rumour reporting article system is in full effect! The Rumour Champions League
finalists Barcelona are ready to loan out the 18-year-old in an effort to boost his first-team
experience and La Liga club Almeria have already inquired about the prodigious forward, who scored
12 goals in 48 appearances during .
So here we meet again, another life or death battle for Valencia CF's future, a weekly war for
survival.
This week, it's state rivals Villarreal, who lie in 6th place, tied with Our Beloved on points
at 59.
Atletico Madrid sit 4th, with 61 points. They play Athletic Bilbao this weekend and save a Kun
Aguero dive, would be somewhat lower.
Xabi Alonso will get his dream move from Liverpool to Real Madrid - if Rafa Benitez takes striker
Alvaro Negredo in a swap deal.
Spanish midfield star Alonso wants to join Madrid's new Galacticos in a £32million move, but Kop
chief Benitez has been holding out for more - and is now being offered £10million-rated Negredo.

weekend of Nov.
Harry Redknapp has been looking for ways to reinforce the squad and he was
thought to be keen on several Real players, including Huntelaar and Robben. The
latest reports suggest Spurs are set to sign a Real player but his name may come as a surprise to
you. Tottenham have agreed to sign striker Alvaro Negredo for £13 million and
that is club's first major signing this summer.
The Spanish Primera Division or La Liga is set to start its 2009-10 season on Saturday with a

After three weeks it is still hard to figure every team out, but I do know one thing for sure.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are both really, really good. After that expert analysis lets review
last weeks matches.
Deportivo La Coruna has showed early in the year that they are a tough opponent for any squad
they face.
Pedro received a pass with his back to goal, moved slightly past the defender and sent the ball
swerwing past the Almeria goalkeeper Diego Alves before he actually realised that the ball was
coming his way. That was the sum total of the goals in the game.Barcelona looked a bit weary of life
and for most of the rest of the game the ball was kicked back and forth in a desultory fashion.
Valencia continued their fine start to the season with an easy win over Almeria.

Positives and negatives from yesterday's match. We played very badly in the first half, gave up
a number of scoring chances, and suffered two key injuries. But the bottom line is that away games
in Europe are very, very tough, and a scoring draw is a good result. We certainly looked better
than we did in Rome, and it's a positive sign for a young side to come out in the second half, down
a goal in a hostile environment, and dominate play to the extent we did.
Average bookie probabilities, Getafe vs. FC Barcelona: 13 / 23 / 64
The focus is back on the league for the next 3 games. The first of these are against
Getafe, who has made it their speciality to get points against the big teams.
Getafe are currently 14th in the league just 4 points shy of the relegation zone.

Last season it was Real Zaragoza, Murcia and Levante. The season before that it was Celta de
Vigo, Real Sociedad and Gimnastic de Tarragona. Who will it be this season? Who will suffer the
heartbreak of relegation to the Segunda division?
Here's the ladder as it stands before the kick-off of round 34:
11 Almería 33 -12
40 12 Athletic 33 -10
40 13 Racing 33 2
39 14

Racing Santander is six points clear of the drop zone on 39, whilst Almeria and Athletic Bilbao
are both on 40.
And just like that, the joy evaporates, in the snap of our fingers.
Atletico Madrid's controversial 1-0 victory over our Valencia CF further compounded a recurrent
theme this season: we're horribly inconsistent.
We play like the world's greatest team in a 2-2 tie with champions FC Barcelona only to falter to
relegation fodder Espanyol.

Real Madrid are ready to use highly-rated striker Alvaro Negredo as bait in their attempt to lure
Liverpool into parting with Xabi Alonso.
Speculation over Alonso's future has intensified with Florentino Perez yesterday confirmed as Real
Madrid president for the second time after no other candidate put themselves forward for election
before the May 31 deadline.
Fiorentina's midfielder Felipe Melo is tidy and uncomplicated, just like another certain
Brazilian at Arsenal although it's his power which has turned many heads.
______________________________________________________________________________
They say it takes a player three years to come through the Arsenal world-wide scouting system
but it seems highly unlikely Melo would have been on Arsenal's radar for that long.
Spanish giants Real Madrid are considering using striker Alvaro Negredo - plus a considerable
amount of cash - as bait to entice Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez to release midfield playmaker Xabi
Alonso. Real have made their interest in Alonso no secret, but Benitez maintains that the Spanish
international is not available at any price.
Keirrison is all but Barcelona's - much to the delight of everyone at former club Palmeiras. But
he's being flogged about as loan fodder in order to catch a bigger fish - either David Villa or
Bruno Alves. Must feel nice to be loved. Eventually. On the other side of the Clasico, Almeria
striker Alvaro Negredo [.
The guy that most of the Premiership teams want in their squad has a typical life story. When
foreigners came flooding Primera he was forced to move to Almeria, while Real were spending big
money on doubtful players.
He got his chance when Almeria had no other solutions and simply exploded.
