Hey everybody, sorry about the lack of a Lumberyard or Boozehound Report, but with the mid-week match last week and plenty to talk about and preview, they kind of got pushed to the wayside. Also, I wanted to leave some room to tell y'all a little about my trip to New York this past weekend. I know talking too much about that game last Saturday is like reading the book adaptation of a crappy movie, but I can't help the outcome now, and I had planned to do this write-up well before the final whistle blew.

While the Union were probably content to grab a point on the road in Colorado, the Independence will feel disappointed not to grab all three as they dominated Atlanta but could not find a breakthrough on Saturday night.
