Several weeks ago I traveled to Phoenix to attend the USSF Youth Development Academy's Winter
Showcase. I attended as a fan who wanted to see the Development Academy in action and view as many
matches as possible, in particular the Select and International Friendly matches. Because I was a
fan, and not a scout, I was not given a program with information on all of the players who
attended.

What a beautiful day, the second best time of the year IMO (I love the fall more). The flowers are
out, the Byron is around the corner, and as long as the allergies aren't out of control it's a
fantastic time of year to be out at FC Dallas training.
