There is little doubt now. Milan look like a champion team. In their impressive defeat of Brescia,
the Rossoneri were clinical and professional as Max Allegri's side put in a performance reminiscent
of champions. In what was a dazzling first half display, the Rossoneri blitzed helpless Brescia
with three goals and it could have easily have been more.

Liverpool are the latest in a long list of clubs pursuing out of favour Milan playmaker
Ronaldinho.
The Brazilian, 30, is designed to amuse, but his season thus far has been far from jovial. He has
become peripheral to plans under Massimiliano Allegri, who has preferred Robinho.
Ronaldinho's lack of regular football has led to speculation his time will be up in January as
promises of a new deal have been placed into the background by Milan.
It's good to know that there will be three sides from the Serie A in the Champions League round
of 16 representing Italy. While AC Milan and Inter Milan had already secured their qualification
mathematically for the knockout stages of the tournament, there was still a doubt whether Roma
would manage to get the needed result, and move on to the next round.
It seems no matter who is in charge at Milan, there is an unrelenting aversion to giving youth
players a chance. The match against Ajax highlighted this. In a game that Milan had only pride to
play for after qualification was secured on match day 5, it was a fantastic chance for Allegri to

So, we are now 16 games into the season, and only one week away from the annual winter break.
Milan, no matter what they do vs. Roma this weekend, will be top of the table going into the winter
break for the first time in a very long time. However, they can't be too comfortable as the trio of
Juventus, Napoli, and Lazio are all breathing down their necks only 6 points away.
Against Bologna last weekend Milan were rampant as they strolled to a convincing victory. In the
match before against Brescia, it was much of the same. In fact, it was almost the same as all three
of Milan's goals against Brescia were scored by the same players that put Bologna to rest too in
another rampant display.
Since this was the final game before the Winter break, I was hoping for a battle, and that is what
I got. I was a little skeptical about Roma's chances going into this game. Their poor performance
against Bari the week before gave us Giallorossi fans little confidence. Even though Roma defeated
Bari, the team as a whole seemed lethargic.
