Would you believe it. A week or so ago, while I was staying in Antwerp with Walter, we sat down
together to look at an article which would outline just how one would go about fixing football
matches. There was no allegation that match fixing was taking place, but rather, if you [.
It's like deja vu, all over again John Terry was ditched as England captain this morning. 'Sources

Anfield Rd: This has to stop. Now.
A SERIOUS allegation was made by a visiting football player at Anfield last night and as it
should be it was taken seriously by the club and, vitally, the police. The player in question,
Oldham Athletic defender Tom Adeyemi, was visibly upset and angry at something that had happened
towards the end of Liverpool's 5-1 win over his side in last night's third round tie in the
Budweiser-sponsored cup.
At the end of the week in which Liverpool attempted to draw a line under the Luis Suarez
controversy, the club found itself at the centre of a new allegation of racism last night. Oldham
player Tom Adeyemi was pictured crying on the pitch during his side's FA Cup third round tie at
Anfield, reportedly [.
Seldom has there been a less savoury title for a specific football match than The Split Testicle
Match, but this is the name that has been given to the Boxing Day League Two match between Crawley

only the most cursory of descriptions may have sent many males wincing and clutching their
groins.
Liverpool's 'shocked and angered' players back Luis Suárez
• 'We totally support Luis and want the world to know that' • Players 'don't recognise' way
Uruguayan has been portrayed Liverpool's players say they are "shocked and angered" that their
team‑mate Luis Suárez has been banned for eight matches for racially abusing the Manchester
United defender Patrice Evra.
So Luis Suarez is working himself into a nice little pattern of nabbing ginormous suspensions in
the meaty part of the domestic season. Before his move to Liverpool last year, he picked up seven
games for his primal attempts at a mid-game snack while playing for Ajax. This year, it's eight
games to sit in the corner and think about what he did.

Luis Suarez sweating on Patrice Evra race row verdict
Of all the issues John W Henry has encountered in English football since mounting a £300million

Suarez.

Luis Suarez could be in trouble again after allegedly giving Fulham fans 'the finger' after
Liverpool crashed to defeat at Craven cottage earlier tonight.
After the game, which saw the Uruguayan fail to score in the league for seventh match in a row,
Kenny Dalglish was asked about the incident, and he responded:
"I haven't seen the picture and I'm not taking anybody's word for it.
Hanoi. Vietnamese police are investigating whether the national under-23 side

It comes after state-controlled press questioned the team's 3-1 victory over Laos on November 17 at
the Games in Indonesia.
Liverpool's Luis Suarez was yesterday charged by the FA for his alleged comments towards Patrice
Evra, and although John Terry and Suarez both stand accused of the same heinous 'crime', the
incompetence and bias of the FA has seen the two situations handled very differently.
The result of the FA's mismanagement of the situation has been several glaring inconsistencies and
contradictions that don't make much sense, and seem to point - IMO - to FA bias towards Terry.
Kenny Dalglish refuses to be drawn into Sepp Blatter row
• Liverpool issue statement supporting Luis Suárez • Club say striker is anxious to clear
his name Liverpool's manager Kenny Dalglish refused to enter into the debate on racism in football
in the wake of the Fifa president Sepp Blatter's comments despite the striker Luis Suárez being
charged with such an offence by the Football Association.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was yesterday charged by the FA over his alleged spat with Man
United's Patrice Evra, but during his press conference a couple of minutes ago, Kenny Dalglish
point-blank refused to make on comment on the issue.
When asked for his views, Dalglish shut down the Journalist straight away:
"The [club] statement says everything.

Liverpool Football club has underlined its support for star-striker Luis Suarez after he was
officially charged with 'abuse' by the FA.
The wording of the FA's statement was curious in that it accused Suarez of 'abusive and/or
insulting words and/or behaviour' towards Patrice Evra, rather than using the stronger label of
'racial abuse':

Liverpool Back Suarez
Liverpool Manager Luis Suarez has been quick to jump to the defense of the Uruguayan after
allegations by Patrice Evra that he racially abused him. Dalglish spoke at a press conference ahead
of Saturday's clash with newly promoted Norwich, The Scot said the club are "totally and utterly"
behind Suarez who has denied any wrong doing.
Kenny Dalglish today insisted that Luis Suarez has the full support of everyone at Liverpool
Football Club following allegations made in the aftermath of last weekend's clash with Manchester
United.
Dalglish told reporters at Melwood: "The only thing we'll say, and then that is it put to bed, is
that this Football club and everyone at the club is totally and utterly behind Luis Suarez.
Luis Suárez increasingly looks like he will not face any charges from the Football Association
unless Patrice Evra can produce witness statements to support his allegation that he was racially
abused during Manchester United's 1-1 draw at Liverpool last weekend.
The FA is planning to send a delegate to Manchester to interview Evra, now that he is back in the
country following the Champions League tie against Otelul Galati.
An emotionally heavy week gradually winds to a close, with many of the major storylines
(hopefully) having some sort of resolution on the horizon. In the wake of Saturday's draw with
United it was the allegations of racism against Luis Suarez, and Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday it
was the proceedings in Parliament regarding Hillsborough and the reactions on all sides.

• Manager defends striker against racism and diving claims • Manchester United's Patrice
