Well this has nothing to do with Arsenal. In fact, Arsenal are conspicuous by their absence in
the names that Allardyce has mentioned. But I haven't stopped laughing since I read this so it's
worth sharing.
Speaking before the game against Fulham, Fat Sam said:
I'm not suited to Bolton or Blackburn, I would be more suited to Inter Milan or Real Madrid.
LONDON, England — Heavy snow and freezing temperatures wreaked havoc with the Premier League on
Saturday, all but wiping out the fixture list and putting the title race on ice. Arsenal were
denied the chance to regain top spot after their match against Stoke at the Emirates was one of
four matches to be called [.
No. No. No. Not this Uncle Sam. But Uncle Sam, the uncle of Blackburn Rovers. The one who never
gets much affection from Arsenal fans. But after this weekend he might just get a little. About
0.000001 % of it.
Forget that Spurs lost to Portsmouth. Had the regular happened at Wembley i.e. Spurs won what
would be the result that made our sunday?
What a week of football
Manchester United again squandered two points from a winning situation, the Chelsea juggernaut
kept on rolling with a weak West Ham those to be steam rolled, Arsenal's passing and movement
proved too much for Owen ‘trying to play football' Coyle's Bolton.
A 5-1 victory over newly promoted Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon has seen a re-vitalised
Bolton Wanderers soar up the Premier League table to 5th place, level on points with Tottenham
Hotspur and six points behind league leaders Chelsea. But, are Bolton over-performing after
fourteen games into the 2010/11 season?

BLACKBURN, England Steve Kean is on his way back from India having had a summit with Blackburn's
new owners to confirm his position as the club's manager and he will be handed a transfer budget to
bring in four new players in January. Kean is to be installed until the end of the season [...]
If there's anything sweeter than a last minute winner I don't know what it is. Oh, hang on. I
do. It's a last minute winner which brings about the demise of a manager who sanctions thuggery and
is one of the most annoying, dislikable and citrusy ever to have set foot in the Premier
League.
Nicklas Bendtner may or may not go on to become an Arsenal great, it's too early to say, but his
winner against Hull not only won us three vital points, it was the final straw for the board of
Hull City who decided Phil Brown's time was up.
The Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce has frustrated Arsene Wenger many times over the years, and
believes that he knows the secret to beating Arsenal. Wenger has often complained about the
bully-boy tactics of Big Sam's teams, but Allardyce happily compares it to the way that Inter Milan
beat Barcelona last week.
The Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce was quite pleased that he had managed to engineer another
victory over Arsenal, especially after announcing before the game that he knew how to beat Wenger's
teams, and he says that he DID identify Fabianski as the "weak link" in the Arsenal side and
deliberately played to unsettle the Polish [.
Well, that sucked.
It went pretty much exactly how you would have expected it to go if you're an extremely
pessimistic Arsenal fan. For all our poking fun at Allardyce's lack of imagination and tactical
innovation, the joke's on Arsenal, because here's the thing: as we've seen this season, you don't
need imagination or tactical innovation to give Arsenal problems.
The Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce has stopped Arsenal from beating his teams at home for eight
years in a row, and he intends to carry on that tradition today. He believes he knows the secret of
stopping Arsenal using their skills (yeah...kick sh*t out of them) and is looking to do the same
again today.
Arsene Wenger was asked about the upcoming game with Blackburn Rovers this week, and was reminded
about how angry he was after least season's defeat and his criticism about Blackburn's agressive
tactics. Wenger used the opportunity to remind the referee's what are allowed in the rules......
"When a team plays long ball and head the ball [.
Many a person has laughed at me to my face after I say Jose Enrique is one of the best
left backs in the country. I would now go as far to say that only Evra and Cashley Cole are ahead
of the Spaniard...
He has toughened up since coming to England and is now an absolute tank.
John Terry has added his voice the ongoing debate about tackling in our game and has made a valid
point in my eyes. He said:
"What has been said about teams like Blackburn, Wolves and Stoke is very unfair, We
can't expect to go to Ewood Park and pick up three points just because we're Chelsea Football
Club.
How about we usher some football back into the fray?
Even if it means continuing to drive yourself crazy with the dissonance I want Liverpool to win.
I don't want Roy Hodgson to stay. If Liverpool wins, Roy Hodgson might stay. If Liverpool loses,
Roy Hodgson might go. Mighty clear, then.
Brief kudos to Noel for doing a fabulous job this week keeping us all up to speed on the comings
and goings off the pitch.
Welcome to flavour country, folks. Injury and crisis are the
buzzwords of the day as the weekend approaches with our treatment room packed to the gunwales with
sore limbs and first-teamers. Eleven in total, if you believe your sources. From Huddlestone to Van
der Vaart we're looking threadbare at best.
After an embarrassing capitulation in the second half to their cocky rivals, Arsene Wenger was
expectedly left facing a lot of questions to answer about his team and his methods. He adamantly
denied that the new training regime involving volleyball games had anything to do with the conceded
penalty and maintained that that was simply an effort to increase the average height of his
team.

One would assume those rested for yesterday's match would be among the first names on the team
sheet for Sunday.
LONDON, England — Manchester City romped back into the Premier League title race here Sunday with
a 4-1 victory over an outclassed Fulham side managed by former boss Mark Hughes. City's Argentinian
contingent led the rout, with Carlos Tevez scoring twice and Pablo Zabaleta adding another to the
delight of their legendary compatriot Diego Maradona, [.

Speaking at the launch of the FA's new 'Grassroots' coaching bible last night, England manager
Fabio Capello when pressed for the names of the English managers he thought could
step into his wake come 2012 blurted out those of Tottenham boss Henry James
Redknapp and 'Big' Samuel Allardyce of Blackburn Rovers.
LONDON, England — Chelsea missed the chance to go top in the English Premier League after Didier
Drogba saw a late penalty saved in a 1-1 draw away to Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on
Sunday. Spurs goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes, who'd let substitute Drogba's shot go through his hands
for Chelsea's 70th minute equaliser, [.

So, news sources yesterday confirmed that Steve Kean has been put in charge at Blackburn
until June 2011.
The new owners (Above) haven't hidden how impressed they are with Kean's attitude and ambition
but it seems that the VH group's slight lack of knowledge of the game (chairwoman, Anuradha Desai
admitted "I don't know a thing about football" when first taking over at the Lancashire club) may
prove to be their downfall on the latest decision.
