All-Stars, Le Toux rumors, and a new signing for the Philadelphia Independence are all part of this week's KYW Philly Soccer Show.

In part one, KYW's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch kick of this week's edition of the pod by talking about the MLS All-Star game, which will be held at PPL Park, in Chester, Pa.

In a Major League Soccer press conference yesterday morning in Philadelphia, it was announced that the AT&T 2012 All-Star game has been awarded to the Philadelphia Union.

The Union will host the game at PPL Park on July 25th at 8 p.m.

Although the opponent for the MLS All-Stars will not be revealed until a later date, the league stated that the game would feature an international opponent for the ninth time in MLS history.

It has been announced that the Philadelphia Union would be hosting the 2012 MLS All-Star game at PPL Park. Philadelphia is an ideal location and few could argue they do not deserve to host such an event. They have a lively crowd who are passionate, knowledgeable and they have a facility which rivals every stadium in MLS save perhaps for LiveStrong Park.

It has been a crazy day for me here. Busy at work. Busy at life. But I wanted to get to this bit of news before the day really gets away from me.

The Union and MLS have scheduled a press conference in Philadelphia for Tuesday, where Philadelphia mayor Michael Nutter and MLS commissioner are expected to announce that PPL Park will be host this summer's 2012 MLS All-Star Game.

Fans of the Philadelphia Union have had plenty to chear about in the club's brief two-year MLS existence. From the opening of PPL Park in 2010, to the team's MLS playoff debut in 2011. Now Union fans are ready to have a new experience to celebrate in 2012, the hosting of an MLS All-Star Game.

Last night, Manchester United made it five wins out of five from the pre-season tour, beating Barcelona 2-1 in Washington. Whilst you can't read too much in to results from a pre-season, like Liverpool fans would tell you after the batterings they received off Hull and Galatasary, it's good to see United playing well and scoring so freely.

The Red Bulls completed their participation in the Emirates Cup on Sunday and they aren't returning to the States empty-handed. They will return stateside as the 2011 Emirates Cup champion. Here is a look at their performance in the tournament and what it means for the MLS.

After watching the most recent Major League Soccer All-Star clash against Premier League champions Manchester United I began to think about the current format. For the second year in a row the Red Devils showed just how much talent they have as a team compared to the squad that MLS assembled. But really, is that much of a surprise?

What's there to say about this meaningless game, @The Cathedral of Football, except that I really wasn't much into it. We were treated to a great fanzone experience outside, with a few RBNY players on hand. There were BMX and freestyle displays and lots of stuff for kids to enjoy. Inside, we were treated to skydivers & fireworks.

The Houston Dynamo used to be a team bordering on dynasty. They had a couple titles, many more playoff appearances, several good players and a coach that was once mentioned as a potential future US National Team coach. When the Seattle Sounders play them Saturday only one of those things will be true.

Where were you when the news dropped that U.S. soccer fired Bob Bradley?

A day after the Manchester United blitz of the MLS All Stars, the U.S. Soccer Federation announced the immediate termination of head coach Bob Bradley. According to the federation's press release, the firing happened during a meeting in Carson City.

In case you didn't watch the game last night (you didn't miss much) here is the highlights video.

Jack Jewsbury came in around the 60th minute and got off a decent shot. But other than that it was a pretty boring game to watch if you were at all rooting for the MLS All Stars.

I guess nobody should be surprised.

The Faryd Mondragon/David Beckham connection continues after the MLS All-Stars 4–0 defeat to Manchester United. In Soccer America's player ratings for Wednesday night's All-Star Game, Mondragon's "6″ is the highest rating received, with only Beckham and Jamison Olave sharing that number.

The MLS All-Star Game at Red Bull Arena last night had the atmosphere and feeling of a big time sporting event. Despite the result, the game was a success for Major League Soccer. Here are four things we learned;

1. Major League Soccer has figured out how to put on a show of grand scale.

After Manchester United's 4-0 victory over the MLS All-Stars last night at Red Bull Arena, Alex Labidou of Goal.com was able to speak with Anders Lindegaard and Ji-Sung Park about what's needed for MLS, and specifically American soccer, to continue to grow.
Year after year, Manchester United continues to show that there is a huge disparity between the world's best and Major League Soccer.

For the second year in a row the MLS All Stars fell to Manchester United in the mid-season all star game. Again it wasn't much of a game as United won 4-0, bringing the aggregate score to 9-2 over the two years. But honestly in the end it was a team that had practiced with each other a grand total of two times before the game going up against a team that has been consistently playing together, many of them for years.

Wayne Rooney set up two goals and Park Ji-sung danced around a defender for another as Manchester United put on another show during its tour of the United States with a 4-0 victory over the MLS All Stars on Wednesday.

The Major League Soccer all-stars even looked good for about 18 minutes with David Beckham pulling the strings in midfield.

Oliveira Anderson, Dimitar Berbatov, Ji-Sung Park and Danny Welbeck were all on the scoresheet as Manchester United beat MLS All-Stars

Ji Sung Park had the goal of the match. Man Utd showed flashes of brilliance in their short passing game leading to Anderson's opening goal. David Beckham had a couple of long distance salvos against his former club. Anders Lindegaard had to come up with a very good save to deny Beckham. The MLS All Stars could have at least claimed a goal through Omar Bravo but the Mexican striker missed an easy chance on a rebound.

Manchester United's goals came from Anderson (20), Ji-sung Park (45), Dimitar Berbatov (52) and Danny Welbeck (68). Wayne Rooney had assists on Anderson's and Berbatov's goals.
