emotional high as they beat the New York Red Bulls in a friendly the previous Wednesday.
After all that chatter, Dwayne De Rosario will be representing Canada this summer.

Cup, along with five other MLS players. Attacking talent Simeon Jackson, who spearheaded Norwich
City's promotion to the English Premier League also made the cut for Canada, which will open the
Gold Cup against the United States on June 7 in Detroit.
All 12 rosters for the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup have been released and there is plenty of star
power set to be on display in the United States this summer.

campaign off to a positive start Tuesday night.
Putting in a workmanlike effort the USA took care of opening round business with a 2-0 victory
over a very game Canadian squad Tuesday night.
The U.S. rebounded from its terrible display against Spain at the weekend to beat Canada 2-0 in
their opening Gold Cup match. Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey were the U.S. goal scorers.

The 2011 NASL season reached its halfway point this 4th of July weekend with plenty of fireworks
on the pitch. The weekend action, which included the unveiling of the new retro NASL official
soccer ball, consisted of plenty of holiday fireworks as the Carolina RailHawks won their 10th
straight match Sunday by shutting down the visiting Montreal Impact 2-0.
