Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi has recently clinched a season long loan move to
Premier League rivals Wigan Athletic, but Wanderers boss Owen Coyle insists that the Oman keeper
remains a part of his long-term plans.
Al-Habsi was clearly never going to get significant playing time at the Reebok Stadium with
Finnish star Jussi Jaaskelainen in front of him, but the club have a 48-hour recall clause built
into Al-Habsi's loan deal should anything happen to their number one.
With much lower scoring matches and a few surprise results, this week's Team of the
Week sees a cadre of players from unlikely sides populating the squad. The normal performers
are still involved, but a few of the keen buys showed that maybe they deserve a more serious look.
