Born July 4th, 1926, in Buenos Aires, Alfredo di Stefano began his football career with River Plate
at the age of 17 and won 6 trophies in his first 12 years playing in Argentina and later Columbia.
A phenomenal striker, he struck a fierce partnership with fellow legend, Hungarian Ferenc Puskas
with Real Madrid from 1953-1964.

Although this living legend was not as consistently great as previous entrants like Alfredo di
Stefano, Sir Bobby Charlton or Paolo Maldini, it was his ability to resurrect his career after
