Well, our night went from good to about as bad as it could get. As you can see from the post
below we were up 1-0 at half time.
The second half started and early on Majstorovic gets his second yellow and is sent off and Bate
tie the game. So, one of our key players is sent off, the pitch condition is deteriorating (and it
was disgusting to begin with) and we were loosing the control over the game we had before.

Most sources are claiming that our passionate skipper is doing everything he can to be ready for
sunday's champions league place decider against that green team.He might have to as Alexopoulos and
Alves are in doubt.Blanco, our MVP for the year, did not train with the team on tuesday because of a
knee problem but should be ok.

Yet another big win against our northern rivals, this time with a scoreline of 3-1.
Videos below:
It was a fairly confident win against PAOK this time with goals coming from Djebbour, Blanco,
and Scocco. There were some questionable calls from the ref (including a red for PAOK, which I
agree with but could have been avoided by PAOK) and some calls not made (including a hand ball from
Kafes which wasn't called).

1-1 was the final score at today's Playoff game against our Athenian Rivals. Honestly,
considering this is probably the toughest match of the Playoffs for us, this really isn't a bad
result. We now have five points, and PAO have six (depending on how the Larissa-PAOK match turns
out we will stay in second or move down to third but it is still quite early so we still have a
chance of finishing high up).

The squad has been anounced for tomorrow's game.
As I was hoping earlier last week, Kyrgiakos will not play at this game. Neither will
Alexopoulos due to being suspended (along with Scocco and Pelletieri). Since Juanfran is injured,
and neither Alexopoulos or Kyrgiakos will be playing it is possible that we might see
N'Siambamfumu, our recently aquired French centre back, play!

The final home game of the regular season ended in disappointment for AEK after they lost 1-0 to
Aris, the first time Aris had gotten an away win against AEK since 1989.
Edinho started the match in the end, along side Blanco. Unfortunately, however, neither he nor
Blanco could do much to get the ball in the net.

An uninspired performance by AEK means that second place is now slipping out of reach for this
season.
AEK, who had many of its main players (Kyrgiakos, Kafes, Scocco, Juanfran, Nsaliwa) remain in
Athens due to either cards or injury, barely managed to get one point in Komotini today after a
rather low class performance by the team.

AEK captain Kyrgiakos has reportedly picked up an injury at training which could leave him out the
rest of the season, including the Cup final, if AEK make it there. It is important to note though
that this is just a rumour as of right now. In fact, some sources are saying he will only miss
[...]

AEK grabbed another thre points this weekend to move into one point within second place in the
standings. Goals for AEK came from Djebbour, Blanco (who is now top-scorer), and substitue Edinho.
Levadeiakos' only goal came from an own goal after a Levadeiakos shot rebounded off Tacthtidis'
foot, catching Saja off guard.

AEK put five past Panserraikos in Serres this evening, with two goals coming from Blanco, two from
Djebbour, and one from Scocco. Panserraikos' goal came from a penalty. AEK, in what was arguably
one of its best performances this season had no trouble with the team from Serres. Considering
Pnaserraikos had just come back from beating [.

AEK JUST BARELY managed to hold on and salvage a point after playing against a Larissa side which
looked to be in good form. For the first twenty minutes the game was mostly controlled by Larissa,
who attacked frequently but rarely manged to make anything of it. Around the 25th minute however,
AEK started turning things [.

AEK's three first half goals did not go unanswered for long. It took just 31 minutes of the
second half for Thrasyvoulos to pull even. Yes, it is almost unimaginable that a team of
AEK's supposed caliber would concede three goals in half an hour to a team holding onto the bottom
of the table [...

AEK, after a disappointing performance, luckily managed to get away with 1 point yesterday. The
team played a poor game of soccer and only until Basinas was taken out at half time were they able
to consistently create chances in front of the Larissa goal. Even then, with both Blanco and
Djebbour up front they [.

The Summer transfer window is not nearly closed yet, so a good bit more will likely happen. I hope
so anyway. We still have some serious holes to fill. But things have slowed to such a point that
there is little to write about or even link to. Saja is supposed to officially sign today, [...]

Giorgos Alexopoulos, who has been out due to injury approximately two years has finally returned to
playing and has just agreed on signing along with AEK for another two years. He had the following
to say: "My return to the field after a two years absence, will be once again in AEK's
shirt. It's a comeback [.
