MLS Against Becks? Or simply Pandering to fans?

Watching the MLS Allstar pre-game, I found it amazing that the analysts, paid by MLS I assume, are speculating about why Beckham got into the altercation with the Galaxy fan last week.

Rob Stone starts it off asking John Harkes "whats gotten into Beckham that he is showing such thin skin?", and Harkes goes on to say that Beckham started off on a bad foot by wanting to stay at AC Milan and shouldn't be surprised at the negative reception from some L.

Michael Bradley was a Metrostar. Just ask Alexei Lalas. And with his recent sale from the Dutch Leagues Heerenveen to Germany's Borussia Monchengladbach, rumored to be around $5 million dollars, would you believe that the Red Bulls may be entitled to a piece of the action?

Like the death of a sick loved one, the news comes as a shock but not exactly unexpected. England's coach coming to DC to see Beckham and MLS standard of play

England's national team coach Steve McClaren will be among the thousands of people at RFK stadium on Thursday to watch DC United take on the LA Galaxy. McClaren will be there to talk with Beckham regarding his recovery from injury as well as judge the standard of play in the MLS.
'I know David has been struggling with injury and has not played yet but I intend to go over and have a chat with him to see how he is.
