Brazil take on Italy tonight in London and a capacity crowd of around 60,000 are expected in the
Emirates Stadium. This is the fourth time Brazil have played at Arsenal's home ground.
Juan and Kaká on target for Brazil
Brazil ended 33 years without a win against Uruguay in Montevideo with a thumping 4-0 victory on
Saturday. Daniel Alves, Juan, Luís Fabiano and Kaká were all on the score sheet in a result that
left Brazil temporarily top of the table. Once again, it wasn't a great performance from Brazil and
Dunga's men had to thank their brilliant keeper, Júlio César, for stopping everything Uruguay
threw at him.
Dunga has called up 22 players for the meeting with Italy on 10th February in Arsenal's Emirate's
stadium ...
Young Brazilian goes bald In news that has rocked Italy, AC Milan star Alexandre Pato has lost his

Kaká alongside Dunga
Brazil face hosts South Africa on Thursday to see who will take on the USA in the finals of the
Confederations Cup.
The confrontation will be an intriguing one for the two Brazilian coaches. Back in 1987, South
Africa's, Joel Santana, was just starting his managerial career at Rio de Janeiro's, Vasco da
Gama.

The Brazilian starlet will become Nerazzurro in two years and hopes to overshadow his illustrious

Will their be more handbagging in Montevideo on Saturday?
Brazil take on Uruguay on Saturday knowing that they haven't beaten the home side in 33 years in
Montevideo.
The yellow and greens last win in the Uruguayan capital came in February 1976. The 2-1 victory
included a goal from debut boy, Zico.
Brazil training in Recife
Brazil take on Paraguay in the estádio Arruda in Recife on Wednesday and goalkeeper Júlio
César is looking for revenge. Brazil's shot-stopper has only been beaten twice whilst representing
his country and both games were against Paraguay. The first defeat came in 2004 in the Copa America
when they went down 2-1.
Brazil came close to pulling off one of the biggest heists in football thanks to a second-half goal

Edin Dzeko. Chelsea have reportedly entered the race to sign Wolfsburg star Edin Dzeko and are

We did something similar a year ago but this year the focus will be on players under the age of
twenty who could have an impact in the Champions League in 2010. The only criteria are that they
play on a team that is a Champions League contender and that they are twenty years old or
younger.
Mario Balotelli (Internazionale)
Age: 19
Nationality: Italian
The Italian is one of the bright lights for the future of the national side and for his
club.

Brazil celebrate
Brazil picked up their third Confederations Cup after coming back from two goals down against
the United States.
The USA took a shock lead when Dempsey's snap shot caught out Brazil's static defence on the
10th minute.
With 27 minutes on the clock, the US doubled the score after a superb counterattacking move from
their own half, ended with Donovan outfoxing Ramires before hitting a perfect shot past Júlio
César.
So the latest installment of the Nike Vapor cleats is this fairly modest colourway of charcoal,
orange and silver... they'll go perfect with my gold plated, diamond encrusted shin-pads! I'm a
modest kind'a guy you know.
So it turns out Alexandre Pato will be wearing these shortly, but I'd suspect sooner rather than
later of course, that C.
With World Cup qualifiers about two weeks away and the FIFA Confederations Cup about 3 weeks
away, Dunga has announced the Seleção roster for those tournaments. The World Cup's
all-time leading scorer Ronaldo was justifiably left off the roster despite a resurgence with
Corinthians.
As AC Milan took to the field against Siena, many including myself were waiting for the wheels
to...

He's got talent but could Neymar really be better than the king?
Since we reported on their break-up a few weeks ago, Futbolita's favourite couple - Pato and
Sthefany - have apparently been working things out and are now back together. How apt... for
Valentine's Day perhaps? The Brazilian gossip media reported that Sthefany, who was 'depressed in
the relationship', asked for a break up because she [.
Dunga has announced the 23 players that will face Uruguay and Paraguay in the World Cup on 6th
and 10th June respectively, and for Confederations Cup in South Africa from 14th to 18th June.
The squad includes Internacional's in-form font man, Nilmar; Corinthian leftback, André Santos;
Grêmio's keeper, Victor; and Cruzeiro's Ramires (who is expected to join Benfica soon).

AC Milan midfielder Kaka has sent Real Madrid a wishlist that they will need to meet in order
to sign him from Milan.
Kaka's wishlist, which doesn't even include the record transfer Madrid needs to give Milan,
insists of a $14.1 million sign-on fee for himself, a $14.

Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o is not ruling out a possible transfer move this summer.
Eto'o is coming off a 30-goal season in La Liga and with only a year remaining on his current
contract, Barcelona is trying to work out a new deal.
Kaká gets the winner against a plucky Egypt
Brazil's Confederation Cup campaign got off to a shaky start after they squeezed past Egypt 4-3
in the Free State stadium.
Kaká, Luís Fabiano and Juan had given Brazil a 3-1 lead but Shawky and two from Zidan brought
things level in the second-half.
Douglas Costa
Contrary to reports circulating in the British press, Douglas Costa's agent, Cesar Bottega, does
not in fact believe that Manchester United are willing to pay the large fee Grêmio want for their
18-year-old.
"I don't believe that they [Manchester United] will reach this figure", the agent told Porto
Alegre newspaper Zero Hora.

Daniel Alves puts Brazil in the final
An 87th minute goal by Daniel Alves put Brazil in the final of the Confederation Cup against the
United States on Sunday.
Alves hit a wonderful free-kick less than five minutes after coming on for André Santos.
Until that point, there was very little to choose between the two sides.
Brazil's head coach Dunga has released a squad of 23 players for the upcoming Confederations Cup.
There's no Ronaldinho or Ronaldo in the team, but most of the big stars are there. The U.S. and
Brazil have been drawn into Group B of the Confederations Cup, and the two sides will meet on June
18 in Tshwane/Pretoria.
Check out Brazil's roster for the Confederations Cup. You'll notice a couple big names missing.
If you can't tell who they are from the picture and the headline, maybe this isn't the blog for
you:
Goalkeepers: Julio Cesar (Inter Milan), Gomes (Tottenham Hotspur), Victor (Gremio)
Defenders: Maicon (Inter Milan), Daniel Alves (Barcelona), Alex (Chelsea), Juan (AS
Roma), Lucio (Bayern Munich), Luisao (Benfica), Kleber (Internacional), Andre Santos
(Corinthians).
You've got to love the transfer window. It's only inevitable that there's going to be at least
one major saga in any transfer window, and just a few days into the summer window, we've got quite
the saga brewing involving Kaka, Real Madrid, and Chelsea.
Of course, there's a lot more in the transfer news pages than this, but it's safe to say that
it's going to be dominating the headlines until there's some sort of resolution one way or
another.
Surely Manchester United must sign Carlos Tevez now. With Cristiano Ronaldo off to Madrid, the
Red Devils need a replacement that cannot be found in one player. CR7 is a complete footballer,
blessed with pace, power, dribbling, shooting, heading, free kicks, etc.
He is one of a kind.
Dunga has called up 22 players for Brazil's final World Cup qualifying matches against Bolivia
in La Paz on October 11th and Venezuela in Campo Grande three days later.
Brazil are leaders with 33 points and have already qualified for the finals in South Africa next
year. With this in mind, Dunga was expected to bring in some fresh faces for the remaining two
games.
AC Milan's ever improving form continued overnight and again Beckham and Kaka were pivotal to the
teams success. Beckham's two assists put Pato and Ambrosini on the score sheet and then some
brilliant inter-play between Seedorf and Kaka cut right through the heart of Lazio's defense only
for the Brazilian, wearing his new Adidas Adi-Pure boots to calmly slot past the advancing Lazio
keeper.
In 2008 a record 1,176 Brazilian footballers left their homeland to ply their trade abroad, 762 of
them ended up in Europe with Portugal unsurprisingly the most popular destination. In total 209
players headed back to the ‘motherland' while Germany claimed 58, Switzerland took 46 and Spain
snapped up 34.
Only two weeks ago I was sitting by my laptop thinking up an article about Brazil national team
coach Dunga, and how he has disappointed fans of the Seleção since taking the helm. I decided to
put the article on hold and lucky I did too as I would have looked like an idiot after their group
games in the Confederations Cup.
