Two first half goals from Giovani Dos Santos and Javier Hernandez were enough to see Mexico stun
Brazil 2-0 in front of almost 85,000 fans in Dallas today.
Dos Santos opened the scoring in the 21st minute when he picked up a pass from Pablo Barrera,
beat Brazilian defender Danilo and cleverly lobbed his shot over Santos goalkeeper Rafael.
"Ibra resta. Thiago non lo so", said Adriano Galliani according to the Corriere Dello Sport. In
English; ‘Ibra stays and Thiago, I do not know'. Indeed, worrying words from Uncle Fester.
Speaking of his tthe circus surrounding our Brazilian maestro, Arrigo Sacchi, the former Milan boss
summed it up nicely: "Thiago Silva is the best [.
Neil W. Blackmon A bit behind the flurry of post-match analysis, but perhaps that's okay for a more
analytic look at the United States' 4-1 loss to Brazil at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland
Wednesday night. The most certain (though maybe not the largest?) takeaway from the match? Brazil
is still really good, even if [.
It can often be as exciting on the pitch, with all the highs and lows a good match can bring. I
talk of the transfer market, of course. This summer, however, may not a particularly enjoyable one
for Milan. The club's resistance to overtures for Robinho, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Pato and Thiago
Silva is set for [.
First things first, let's be real: Brazil were better than the U.S. last night. They scored
four, two of which were very fine, and could have had more. Their first half pressure was
relentless, and several of their players showed just how highly skilled they are.
And yet...
And yet, the first two goals Brazil scored were cheap, and the U.
The United States lost 4-1 to Brazil on Wednesday night in front of 67,619 at FedEx Field in
Landover, MD. Brazil opened with Neymar scoring from the penalty spot in the 12th minute. They made
it 2-0 when Thiago Silva scored in the 26th. Herculez Gomez pulled a goal back for the United
States just before halftime, but it was 3-1 when Marcelo scored in the 52nd.

LANDOVER, Md. -- The U.S. men's national team looked to their match against Brazil as a way to
guage just how far they have come in their first year under head coach Jurgen Klinsmann, and they
found out there is still work to be done.
Four days after routing Scotland to open their busy summer, the United States suffered a 4-1
defeat to Brazil in front of a crowd of 67,619 fans at FedEx Field on Wednesday night.
Neil W. Blackmon Fresh off the most dominant performance of the Klinsmann era, and perhaps the most
dominant display by a U.S. MNT midfield in a decade Saturday against Scotland in Jacksonville, the
United States plays game two of what Jurgen Klinsmann last week called a "five game tournament"
tonight against a youthful, experimental but [.

What is there to say about Alexandre Pato?
Pato's real passion: Berlusconi
The AC Milan striker, who currently spends more time on the training table and off gallivanting
around Milan with Barbara Berlusconi than on the field at the San Siro, is the most experienced
striker on this very young Brazil roster.
Brazil has released their jersey numbers for Wednesday night's match against the United States at
FedExField, and Neymar has been given the #11 jersey. Alexandre Pato from AC Milan sports the #19,
and Hulk, the double scorer from Brazil's 3-1 win against Denmark, gets the #20.

Denmark starts their last set of preparations for Euro 2012 with a friendly against Brazil. The
match will take place at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, Germany with kickoff is scheduled for

"We've suffered a lot of last-minute injuries but I think there are excellent players here to
play good football and the idea is to get to the Olympics in the best form.
Denmark have chosen tough opposition for tomorrows International Friendly In Brazil who have won
the World Cup an impressive 5 times and despite the likes of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo all
dissapearing from the 'A Seleção' they still have exciting talents coming through that
will feature tomorrow the likes of Neymar, Thiago Silva, Alexandre Pato and Hulk.
AC Milan head into the off season wondering what could have been as they bowed out of the Champions
League at the quarterfinal stage against Barcelona and finished second in Serie A behind Juventus
by only four points. There is, of course, no shame in being knocked out of Europe by one of the
best teams in the world or losing out on the league title to only the third undefeated side in
league.

Juventus will finish on top of the league table regardless of the result of Week 38. The
Bianconeri defeated Cagliari 2-0 while Milan lost 2-4 to Inter to confirm Juve as this season's
champions. Below is a list of the most important factors behind Juve's triumph:
a) Andrea Pirlo: The Italy midfielder has been perhaps Juve's most influential
player this season.
"The real regret for this year, as I said it to [Silvio] Berlusconi on the phone, is about Gattuso
and Cassano....with the two of them we would have gained some more points," were the words of
Adriano Galliani today 24 hours after Milan's four-goal rout of Siena. While it is not so easy to

"We're going to lose this match," said a Romanista prior to last night's
Juve-Roma meeting at the Juventus stadium. "I know it."
Unfortunately, it wasn't a case of that sinking feeling you get prior to a derby. She was right
about the loss and it wasn't very kind to her either- a 4-0 drubbing of Antonio
Conte's men!
The weekend in Italy and perhaps world football has been overshadowed by the tragic news of
Piermario Morosini's death during a Serie B match between Livorno and Pescara. The Livorno
midfielder suffered a heart attack while playing against Pescara.
This tragic incident should serve as a reminder to everyone, whether players, football fans or
people in general, that life is fragile and they must appreciate what they have while trying to
make the best out of it.
"I don't feel that my job is at risk". These were the words of Max Allegri following his side's
surprise defeat to Fiorentina on Saturday. The loss enabled Juventus – still unbeaten this season
– to leapfrog the Rossoneri into first place. Consequently, and most predictably, the Milan
tactician has come under pressure with his [.

An inspired defensive performance from AC Milan kept Barcelona at bay during a 0-0 draw in the
first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie, but things won't be nearly as easy this
time around.
Barcelona have been unstoppable at home in all competitions this season, winning 20 of their 25
games at Camp Nou.
Alexandre Pato was linked on a number of occasions with potential transfers to Spain and England
as well as French club PSG. The figures which were discussed ranged from £35 to £45 million.
Milan seemed reluctant to release Pato and the young Brazilian remained with the club.
However, with the striker suffering from one injury after another, some have begun to express
their frustration with his numerous injuries.
I hope like me everyone had a goodnight relaxed, in the knowledge that we do not have to play
again until next Tuesday night.
In a game where I thought during the first half especially Liverpool, could have put at least
a couple of goals past us.
The hero of the match for me was our goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
Looking back at AC Milan's game with Arsenal earlier this month, I was amazed how easily they
managed to pick apart a team. They played like an opponent always one trick ahead.
The majority of moves Arsenal conjured together were thwarted by the AC players and left the
away fans frustrated and the home crowd delighted.
One feels the time has come for Milan to decide; to persevere with Pato or allow him to leave.
There have been numerous reports this season that the club are willing to sell him should the right
offer arrive. Indeed, in January he was almost sold to Paris Saint-German, and despite being
offered €35 million, [.
League leaders Milan were dominant during the first-half and the early stages of the second
period against their rivals Juventus. The Rossoneri scored after another mistake by Leonardo
Bonucci. The Juve centre-back committed two mistakes leading to Milan's goal scored by former Juve
midfielder Antonio Nocerino.
It all started according to plan. Milan took the initiative from the beginning against Juventus,
dominating possession and going ahead thanks to another strike from our free scoring midfielder,
Antonio Nocerino. Ten minutes later it should have been two. But, it was not. Roberto Romagnoli,
the assistant referee, somehow failed to see how Sulley Muntari's [.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham. Since 2008 AC Milan is facing an English team in the
second round of Uefa Champions League, but in all of these cases they have never managed to pass to
the quarter finals of the most important European torunament for clubs.
Even this year beat Arsen Wenger's team won't be easy as Gunners are not the team they used to
be at the beginning of the season, when, for example, they lost 8-2 at Old Trafford against
Manchester United, in one of the most embarassing matches of the Wenger's era.
Of all of the options Carlos Tevez was looking at over the last few months, returning to the
field for Manchester City was likely the last on the list. But it's getting closer to
happening.
Tevez returned to Manchester and had a physical with the club's doctors on Tuesday ahead of a
surprise return to the club after three months away from the team.
Health scares, multi-million pound on-off deals and the toppling of a prime minister. It has the
makings of a political thriller that any dramatist would be proud off. Instead, it has been the
script of Massimiliano Allegri's awkward second season in charge of Milan. It is easy to forget
just how rocky the waters have been in the background to his attempts to build on the foundations
of a debut.
As the old cliché goes, history repeats itself. And this could not be truer come every February
for Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Whether at Barcelona or in the blue or red half of Milan, the
‘big' Swede's scoring record often leaves something to be desired at this time of the year.
Goals, to be precise.
AC Milan will be looking to put behind them their disastrous weekend outing when they host
Juventus at the San Siro tonight in the Coppa Italia first leg semi-final. With Juventus also
having settled for a similar barren draw with Siena in the weekend, the match will definitely be an
explosive one.
The rumour mill may continue incessantly as it always does, but, for the time being no players will
be swapping kits. Instead, now is the time for coaches to start preparing their troops, both new
and old, for the business part of the season. It is already February and that mad month of May is

It has been an odd week for Milan. From the low that last Sunday's derby loss sank us to, the
club's fortunes rose steadily from one day to the next ending in triumphant fashion with a
convincing 3-0 win over Novara. The loss to the ‘Tinkerman's' Nerazzurri posed serious questions
over Max Allegri's men, from [.
The current table shows Inter in 5th place yet the Nerazzurri have a greater chance of competing
for the league title than Udinese or Lazio who are currently above them in the standings. Inter's
players have the necessary experience and the quality players to challenge for titles while both
Udinese and Lazio are lacking in terms of experience and the killer instinct needed to win
difficult matches.
