It was back in August 2007, I remember arriving at my new seat in the North Bank Upper for the
opening game of the season, to a fantastic view of the resplendent Emirates pitch.
Our opponents that day were Fulham, ‘easy game' we thought, except David Healy and Jens
Lehman had other ideas.

No post yesterday as the holiday festivities kept me away from my laptop. A day away from the
news may not be much but there has been a lot going on the past couple of days. These last 24 hours
has been quite refreshing without the internet. Just saw that Cesc Fabregas also wished Happy
Chinese New Year to all, nice of him to remember.

Having consistent playing time at lower clubs doesn't always set an interest for every
footballers including on loan Barcelona player, Alexander Hleb, who went on another spell this

Despite admitting that he is enjoying his temporary stay at Birmingham, the Belarus
international stated that he has no intention in making his stay at the club permanent next season
as he is actually eying a return back to Arsenal instead.

Bolton Wanderers of the English Premier League have agreed to play the Houston Dynamo at
Robertson Stadium in Texas on July 20th, soccer marketing firm Santio Sports revealed on
Monday.
The match will see United States midfielder Stuart Holden return to his former club where he
made 103 appearances and grabbing 15 goals while helping the Dynamo to two MLS Cups.

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny admits that an opportunity to join reigning European
champions FC Barcelona at a later stage of his career will be too tempting to turn down.

Fabianski was sidelined by a shoulder injury in the middle of last season.
Former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder Alexander Hleb will be without a team at the end of the
year after his current club Wolfsburg revealed that they will not be renewing his contract when it
ends later on this month.
Hleb who struggled to assert himself in the Barcelona line up was eventually loaned out to
Bundesliga club Wolfsburg in August on a short term switch that was meant to improve his fitness
and form after an injury prone post Arsenal career.
