Alexander Hleb was a bit of a Marmite player during his time with Arsenal. Capable of the most incredible dribbles followed by the most inept shooting, the Belarusian ball player never quite made the most of his talents with the Gunners, before moving to Barcelona for £12million (where he once again failed to deliver on a consistent basis).

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has launched a scathing attack on Barcelona's ability to defend their Champions League crown, insisting that the European champions are not as strong as they were last year.

Wenger has not had the best of relationships with Barca in recent years as the Catalan side aggressively pursued former Gunners skippers Thierry Henry and Cesc Fabregas despite the North Londoners' obvious desire to keep both players.

These words were recently uttered by the only person on the Arsenal squad that could be as strong as Cesc Fabregas in the center of midfield.

My choices were: the day after Thierry Henry left (2007), us being linked very heavily with Alexander Hleb (2005), Jens Lehmann talking about how we should sign Miroslav Klose (2006), Barcelona talking about wanting to sign Thierry (2003), vaguely hoping Igors Stepanovs might cripple Ruud van Nistelrooy in the Euros (2004) and a quote from Chris Waddle talking on 5Live about the Swedish back four at the 2002 World Cup:

The Swedish back four is amongst the tallest in the world cup.

While it may not be a permanent one considering Manchester United's game have now been postponed, it will nevertheless put some pressure on the current leader. Chelsea plays at the same time and if they match our result, they will remain ahead of us by virtue of better goal difference.
